Lmc made a full rubber mat that was fitted to the cab in a 74 f100 we had years ago. The mat was super nice and fit perfect I literally washed it out with a hose and I’m sure they make one for your Chevy

Let me suggest picking up pecans is easy compared to content creation. Kudos to all the creators out there that open our eyes!!! Hey Zach, I'm currently deployed in Japan but I grew up in Minneapolis and would head up north on the weekends. Mostly the Glenwood area to see Grandma and Brainerd area for our cabin. We had a Custom floor mat in the x9 this year it was made by a local shop that does flooring for wakeboard boats, they have a machine that measures the floor to make the mat to fit perfectly, maybe theres a shop near you that would provide the same service, it was pretty nice the inlayed green and yellow into the black mat!

I grew up on the farm, and also helped out some of the local farmers and my uncle. I usually would eat at the local restaurants at least one to two times per week. My go-to meals were Hot Beef Sandwich, Hot Turkey Sandwich, and Double Cheeseburger and Fries. My go-to drink was a large Chocolate Coke.

Use weather tech mats, my grandpa uses them in his 55’ Chevy bel-air, also in his 62’ Chevy nova, and his 68’ Chevy Chevelle SS. And loves them. He restored them all and raced the bel-air.

Next year before the dryer is empty open those doors and kick the fans on and see if it can blow bunch of that out. Not sure if that will help but it may be worth a try.

Pour your own for the mat: nail up a mold to shape, put some stripwood down for a tread pattern, a coat of lacquer and release, then just pour some self-cure liquid latex.

My 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I just went down to my dealer and got weather gaurd. Very happy with them. Front, mid and back. The truck I have now is an 2020 and it came with them. My truck before this one. Same as my Jeep. It was an 1 ton. Again I am very pleased with my weather guards.

On cleaning out the grain dryer. If you wanted a possibility more efficient way of doing it you should take a look at a portable saw dust collection system with a 3-4 inch hose. It works like a vacuum cleaner.

Thanks for posting up and educating those of us who just see framers riding around in tractors lookin like they aint working . I was even able to point out a soy bean truck heading to our local soy bean plant here in Mexico Missouri mid January and explain to the wife why they were moving beans in the winter.. very cool to be able to understand some of the inner workings ..

What about using a vacuum hose for the dryers? In the town I grew up in they used to use a giant vacuum cart with a long 1 foot tube to suck up the piles of leaves they made in the parks. Then you could just break it up with a shovel and suck it all out. It would sure make getting crevices clean easier

9 days late, cleaning my Farm fans Dryer very similar to yours I use air blow gun start at top work down. One key is don't dry in the rain. Then actually turn on fans go in and with help from the blow gun, cleans it out really good. If you don't it will coroad the galvanizing. Done this on mine for ten years, still looks like new.

Your old truck was my first vehicle a 73 Chevy Cheyenne and I loved it. Learned to fix every little problem those has except rust. The rust was guaranteed from the factory or your money back.

Zach have you looked into a vacuum truck coming out and vaccing the dryer out? It would very quick and far easier than shoveling it. I’m not sure if they any vacuum trucks in your area, but it’s worth a look. It would make your life much easier!

While cleaning up the dryer, we also took the inlets off and sprayed some oil in the air lock and blower. The tolerances in both are very tight and preventing any rust buildup will add life to the air system.

We don't use a leaf blower, but we do use a sullair air compressor with a 1-in airline. You are correct in assuming you need to wear a mask.
