She Didn't Flip It-Becky drives the grain cart for her first time and did great! It won't be long before she'll be on her own. The dryer had us a bit nervous at the end of the day. Thankfully there was no fire.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

The thing I like about Becky is that she understands so much of what you're teaching her. You can see it in her face and her reactions. A true farm wife is a blessing without equal.

You guys are awesome to watch. It's good, fun entertainment. Full of one liners and good humor. And it's all centered around farming and machinery. All that work cleaning up grain around the bins, unloading area, etc.. I wonder if it's possible to have a trough (with a grate over it) with a auger in it around the high cleanup areas? The trough could transfer to a inclined screw, which you could put into a front loader scoop, or maybe even a grain cart when it's not harvest. Or maybe if not a trough, just a square hole or two. I am not a farmer, although I do work for an apple grower and packing company. My great grandparents farmed dry land wheat in Oregon. I think about the how they had horses (mules) pulling a combine, and how hard they worked every day.

My hat is off to ya for passing on the knowledge to your wife!! My mom was a major part of our farm operation yrs back & she was out till all hours getting the crops out or getting animals to market!! Due to an unfortunate accident mom has been gone for a while & dad has since remarried. Unfortunately his 2nd wife liked the farm wife idea, but isn't interested enough to learn it, leaving a huge gap in the operation!! Be very thankful for the true farm wives everywhere, for they are as rare as unicorns & most often just as beautiful!!

watching you work, it is EASY to believe reports about farming being DANGEROUS !!! climbing, lots o' MOVING machinery..... I know you can't help that, just the nature of the biz !!!! I enjoy these vids, as when I was a kid in the 60's, I "worked" (played, fooled around, mostly) on my grandparents wheat farm and small dairy (4 stalls....), near DOVER, OK..... no computers, no gps, no cell phones, back then !!!! but I do remember riding in their 2 old 49 or 50-something Ford 1 ton trucks, hauling wheat from the combines to the elevator in town, working late into the night, sometimes !!! Thanks Jim Jensen - Jacksonville, FL

Impressive how much physical labor this millennial guy puts out. Crawling up, around, shoveling inside, outside. He’s not very good at being a millennial. Zach, if y’all get a 780 combine, it’s likely you could get the fancy JD software that synchronizes both the combine and the grain cart tractor. Great video, Mr Zach. Helpful tip. On our grain cart tractor if I set the gps up with the grain cart and put a 27’ to the right offset in the implement setting it’ll make our tractor autosteer directly under the auger of our 9770 no matter which direction you’re going because it is actually steering on the combines pass. So set the width up the same as you header width then a offset to the right of whatever the distance is from the center of your combine to the center of your cart when it’s under your auger. Makes my cart drivers life a lot easier

@@EtzEchad Ya. At first I thought it was the cat talking. Then I realized my mistake.

Yes they can... My Shaddow Bagheria knew he wasn't supposed to be in the kitchen table. And when i asked him, are you supposed to be on there. He straight up said no... Soi said that's right let's get down now and he did. Or when he'd get stuck in the shelves in my garage ceiling he called out clear as day daddy daddy.... Tell me cats can't talk. You aint listening to what your cat is saying. Lol

TEKU ENTERTAINMENT My cat definitely understands and speaks English. When I ask him if he is hungry, he clearly says “More! More! More now!”

Re: temperature alarm. When I see that sort of thing in a heating system I look up. Usually an indication that the exhaust heat is not properly venting and you are tripping a vent/exhaust sensor limit. Once the corn is run out of the dryer, vacuuming/blowing off the the bee's knees/dust/chaff from the upper screening would probably help.

Man I love your channel. I I grew up farming in Southern Illinois, on a good friend's family farm. I had a lot of respect for the way you conduct yourself and represent your family on camera. However after seeing your interview on CBS.... You are a millennial all star! God bless.
