Harvest 19 has become large and in charge with all the demos and new combine additions to Welker Farms. Unverferth brought out their brand new 1620 Tandum Wheel and Dual Auger grain cart! This cart will be available in 2020. We also unexpectedly got a chance to test out the Fire Tamer attached to BIG BRUTE and wow it worked like a charm! Thank you to everyone supporting harvest 19!

Reply to Brad not Landa Farming is real world, positive, constructive and essential. There are so many fools who gear their life toward getting rich by whatever means possible, but if we look at the big picture it resembles this: The most respected people in this society are the famous politicians, entertainment icons, sports "heroes" and of course the insanely wealthy. But even the most important of those people do not make decisions which have kept us alive.. EVERY YEAR the Farmers make hard choices about what to plant, when to plant it, how to grow it - and THEN they have to adjust on the fly to whatever nature throws at them. They have to fight the corporations and STILL never get their fair portion of the food dollar, and of course they frequently have to fight the "government". FARMERS are why we are alive, why even the most influential people on the planet have survived. No farmers? No society at all.

Nick from a firefighter from Florida, where everything burns during a brush fire, you want to fight the fire from the black aka the burnt part of the field for your safety. If not the wind could shift and you would be screwed.
@lynwessel2471
@lynwessel2471 4 жыл бұрын
I think it might be better to have the nozzle side mounted and drive beside the fire and you could spray forward or backward. Watch how the brush trucks do it .Good trial run.Better to have too much help at a fire than not enough.If you have a fire you may not get it out by yourself but it buys time till help arrives. You can do a lot with a tractor and disk too.

RiverRat 25 on that note wouldn’t the misters on the arms be better since it takes the oxygen out of the fire better with less water. Drop the booms back in to the fire. Then use the fire canon for major fire.

Yep the black is the safest spot to be. Everyone on our farm is trained in basic firefighting skills. Always good to have some old turnout gear and some pulaskis. If you don't have a sprayer old fire trucks can be found for resonable money in many cases. Be safe out there.
