Well, your comments were almost two years ago, so I'm not sure how much you guys still care about the game, but if you do still care, you guys might be in luck depending on how well things go. I've just got the true ending and thought " Man, this game was fantastic, I wish it had more attention". And then I had an idea. So I went to a youtuber's discord server and spread the word in hopes it gets their attention, and luckily enough, someone who knows the guy says they'll tell him about it. Whether he sticks to his word, or if the youtuber even cares about some random peon on his server (Or even if you guys care about some random reply to a two year old comment) is out of my control, but I thought I'd say something to shed a glimmer of hope for this gem of a game. If you want to know who the youtuber is in case he ever does review this game, it's Foekoe. It might take a while because playing/editing the game is a long process, and again, it's a very small chance he checks it out , but it is possible and I thought I would give you guys some hope.

I'd like to think that MO was Elara's memory of her past kind self, since all the little blue slimes were made from her memories.
@TheBIindReaper4 жыл бұрын
just thought to share my opinion from a Philosophical view, mostly regarding who, or what "Elara" is aft Greenbel used her in the experiment so as to piece the endings with the story. Elara is long dead. She melted in the machine, that much we know. So who is the current "Elara"? I believe what happened is that when Elara died, her negative emotions were absorbed by the Extremergy Liquid which became the Extremergy Lifeform. That’s also why they needed living humans, because they wanted to harness raw Negative Emotions. Negative Emotions are powerful, but they are also nearly impossible to control, this fits perfectly with the description of our Lifeform. The "Elara" that we encounter, is merely her Negative emotions taken consciousness. This is further reinforced when she says "I'm something that should not exist". She didn't say "I'm something that should not have existed". It stresses heavily that this Extremergy Lifeform "Elara" should not even be alive rather than blaming herself. Sirius, someone who has worked closely with her for a long time, even says “Elara is dead, that thing isn’t Elara”. Elara has died, her Negative Emotions should have dissipated along with her. Yet they linger in the liquid, trapped and unable to escape just like a vengeful spirit. Our job as Mo, is to free her as she says, but why? And from what exactly? Was it so she can take revenge? No. Elara was a woman with good and pure intentions. It may have even been this purity that made her have such a high Compatibility because Purity is easily Corrupted. They needed a strong Negative emotion to be captured and so Elara's high Purity was perfect since corrupting it would become just as strong of a Negative emotion. More so when she has been betrayed before and this time by an even closer acquaintance . Overall, revenge was not the reason she originally made the clones try to free her. Hell, we didn't even attempt to Free her until the end. Yup, "Elara's" original true mission to us was NOT to hit that Big Red Button. That was what she thought, due to losing her memory over the years and getting corrupted. She did want us to free her, just not in a physical manner. Mo's true mission, was to remind her of who she was so that she could free her Negative emotions from the Cage (Extremergy Liquid) and move on, so that others would stop using her for Evil. Swimming around in the darkness of an endless cycle of hatred and anger, she needed someone to pull her out of it, that's Mo true mission. That's why once Mo gave her back her memories, she remembered who she was and the purpose for escaping. In the Bad Ending, we failed as we did not fully remind her of who she was and so her Negative Emotions remain trapped. In the Good Ending, we succeed and she escapes from the Cage and disappears as she should have.

Gosh, I hope so! As I said in the other comment on here, my (admittedly baseless) theory is that MO is actually Greenbel, but without a solid answer it's impossible to be sure. I definitely would love to see these devs make more, though, because damn this game was good!

My Headcanon is that this game is actually set in the same universe as Cytus 2. Seeing how advance the technology humans have in this, they could've used it for space travel but when the explorers landed on this planet they discovered a plant and Infected them. Then a decade later, humans from Earth never got a news from them and then the game starts.

@@lilithgalac5102 MO is actually one of the attempts of Elara trying to get out. But, Elara had to split most of her memories, which are the hidden orbs, and MO, in order to accomplish that goal; but as she loses memories, revenge was the only thing she remembers.

Man… the true ending doesn’t feel as satisfying as the ‘bad’ end even though it’s the one with the best outcome. Greenbel deserves punishment and Elara deserves her revenge. Jeremiah kept pushing through with his experiments no matter what the cost, too stubborn to listen to Elara about a solution that would’ve been even better than his and proceeded to use her to succeed in his experiments. All the bad things that have happened can be pointed to him, yet he’s the only one to live (though we don’t have solid evidence that he’s actually alive, it’s just implied that he is)

MO is one of those slimes you control around the tower, except empowered by the last boss at the cost of her memories, based on her lines at the intro. Each scattered memory you find were her previous attempts, that's why there are scattered slime parts around the memories all the time.

You simply need to collect all 30 memory fragments and beat the boss again, don’t worry though you don’t need to start over. Simply go to the select chapter screen and you can look through the different areas and it will tell you if you missed a memory in that location, all you have to do is find it and then go back to the chapter select. Once you collect the memory it’s yours, don’t need to even finish the level again.

Honestly, same. The rest of the game was amazing, but Mo was hyped up to be the one who could put the spaceship back in the original time-space continuum, saving the monsters from their doomed world or possibly cure the infection in the resurrectible people. Instead we got this, which is a fine ending but leaves us with too many questions on what's going to happen and what Mo will do. Heck, I don't know if Mo will even stay alive or fade like Elara...
