It’s easy, go on Wikipedia. Look at her movies and box office results, then look at Melissa’s box office results. Not in the same neighborhood. Also, Tammy Melissa and her husband created that from their own production company and was the first time they did something like that. The profit was 80 million, maybe if she had a more productive husband. Not everyone is made to be a manager, the way he talks I can’t imagine him successful in this arena without being propped up by his wife.

I just wonder with an industry like Hollywood who hasn’t been done dirty? There’s literally a hundred person long line for each and every part. When something is highly sought after people are done dirty at best, and at worst abused and maligned. It would seem like most have been done wrong in Hollywood AND have also been able to move past it and create their own opportunities like Melissa McCarthy. Here is it 15 years later and Mo is still here wearing her challenges on her sleeve. At what point is the person in the mirror at least partially responsible? Also the absolute ultimate truth is if we don’t take full responsibility for our lives, we have no power to change them. I’m not a Huge Melissa McCarthy fan or anything but she has her bits/character work as a comic actress…she’s earned her spot… if we’re just comparing bigger female actors … M.M. Probably doing that free promotion if she ever had a career defining role tho…. With Mo on 75-80% of her points in this sit down tho! Respect !!

Melissa is doing the promo, so has Halle Berry, Denzel, Meryl Streep and everyone else who’s been asked to. So if it’s between Person A who won’t do promo without getting paid or Person B who will. Who is the studio going to select? And does it really mean she’s been blackballed or they are exercising their options to invest in an actor who’s willing to go whatever it takes?

@christopherwilliams2351 Well, I guess we see it differently. These people clearly have something to get off their chest and giving them a safe platform to do that, while still holding out an opportunity for even the people they are talking about to come and respond, if they choose to; I don't think there is anything wrong with that. It's one thing if they were just up here lying on people, but they are just sharing their experiences; I think we all have a right to do that, through whatever media we choose, in a respectful and dignified manner, as much as possible.
