Wow, great effort top (5). When the pain drain hits, I have to take some pure mineral caps with water. The boron, magnesium and copper really helps a bunch.

I did the half pint. You were really able to capture the beauty of the land and the special vibe of this event. ps.. I never fell during the race but did a face plant in the parking lot on day two. Hadn't even had any fireball yet. I blame the sun in my eyes.

Hallucinated SO bad during Moab 240 in this area so I am misremembering the landmarks. Had to descend Jacob's (Jackson's) ladder in the dark. Thanks for letting me know about this race. I'd love to see some of this in the day time-without seeing my cat and "people" taking pictures of the eclipse.

Moab seems like a great place for winter running and biking. I think I need to give that a try. Would you recommend gaiters to keep sand out of your shoes or just know it's going to happen and be mentally prepared?

I wonder if since a 6 week cycle tour brought me from 5 miles to 10 miles, if an 8 month cycle tour would bring 13 miles up to 26. I'd love to complete at least one regular marathon and if I like it then some smaller ultras, just to know I did it before getting too old
