I think that Trainlover476 isn't the only one who portrays Henry as a lovable idiot. I mean, all those scenes: Snowman: "Ho ho ho Henry" Henry: Who said that? It can't be that purple guy behind those trucks. It's the snowman! Rev. W. Awdry's Ghost: Oh, dear lord. Why did I have to create this series for my sick kid?

I agree with you 100% on this episode, Will. Out of all the episodes of Season 16, this was definitely the worst. Even the newest Charlie episode "Not Now, Charlie" couldn't change my mind about liking this guy or not because the moment he learned his lesson about no one taking him seriously when he tells jokes all the time, what does he do? He starts telling jokes again!!! Learning a lesson, what's that?

I have a feeling Sharon CAN write, and she writes nice stories AT FIRST. But then, out of the blue, HiT inspectors come, check on her, then holler in a 'I'm-making-shitloads-of-money-and-I-have-my-head-6-feet-up-my-ass" voice: "THIS IS TOO LONG AND COMPLICATED! HOW CAN WE PROFIT IF THE SHOW CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD OR BE ENJOYABLE FOR EVEN MENTALLY HANDICAPPED TODDLERS?! EITHER SHORTEN IT AND MAKE IT SIMPLE, OR START OVER!" I'm maybe too emphatic, but I think she left because of THIS crap!

It is dangerous for engines to go backwards fast if they're PUSHING something. If they're being pulled, it's fine. (Like Tornado, the A1 Pacific, was able to be pulled backwards by a diesel on a special train.)
