Vlad: “When I hear Kelly Park I think of Eazy E..” Mob James: **side eye** “WHY.!?”
@americanzombie1802
@americanzombie1802 5 жыл бұрын
I love Eazy E too but only squares and people not knowledgeable on gangs say things like that. Eazy E was not a notorious KPCC. Like Mob James said, he never heard them(KPCC) talk about Eazy. None of KPCC enemies heard or knew about Eazy before he was famous. And when Eazy was coming up, Kelly Park weren’t really Crips yet, they were hustlers. KP Hustlers. So now it’s very overblown in hip hop that Eazy E was this CRIP figure when that wasn’t the case. We’re talking about a guy that went out of his way to not rep a blue or red rag. He grew up in the neighborhood and sold some weed, broke into a few houses from what his closet friends said. But let’s not make him out to be this super Crip, that’s just internet hip hop lore.
@americanzombie1802
@americanzombie1802 5 жыл бұрын
mal m yeah, and I’m not even talking down on Eazy like it’s a bad thing but he was a smart person, I don’t think he cared about gang banging he probably seen it as dumb and a waste of time. He wanted to make money and didn’t care about gang affiliation, colors, or anything as long as it made business sense. That’s why he was cool with DJ quik a Piru. That wasn’t his thing.

Foolish Ways eazy had artist that were about to come out the east/south. Forgot who they were but Eazy was a visionary. He would’ve been ahead of Dre & Cube’s curve had he lived on. He started looking for artist OUTSIDE of cali to expand Ruthless(hence, the signing of Bone from Cleveland). It was his wife who fucked the label up after he died.

Eazy E never claimed to be Kelly Park. He was a street hustler. However if you ever listen to his music , he does throw subliminal messages about being crip. And if you do your research , there's pictures of a young eric wright with south side crips/ Kelly park. Just because Mob James never heard of him doesn't discredit Eazys street credibility.

I don't think he was speaking down, he was just saying Eazy wasn't an "active" gang banger. All real "actives" know and run into each other which usually doesn't end well but everyone from that time knows Eazy was more of a hustler than a banger. James even said himself if he is wrong then they can correct him being as though he's not from KP. He kept it respectful.

Forever Remain Nameless actually the incident Mob James is talking about where Eazy wasn’t there is a separate incident to the one where they confronted Eazy in that hotel room or whatever. Both incidents did happen. Jerry Heller describes the same exact incident as Mob James did in this interview so both are probably telling the truth. It’s just that the incident where they surrounded Eazy as a set up happened another time and maybe Mob James wasn’t involved with that one so he didn’t bring it up.

They act like Suge just bossed up and took Dre from Eazy. If he mobbed up Eazy than why was Eazy getting paid off every CD Dre sold??? Suge didn't take nothing it was a business deal made between Eazy and Suge.

@Error Report but do you think Mob or BG care at this point of their lives naw I don't think so On the other side of the spectrum Mob and BG promote their shit through Vlad ,however Vlad capitalizes of both of them cats gangs and deathrow-ruthless records riverlly , so from a business point of view I guess everyone is getting cheddar

Eazy had Dre signed as an exclusive artist, so when he left Ruthless Eazy sued him (death row/interscope), They (Jimmy lovene) made a deal where Eazy would get a percentage of the profits from anything Dre produced. That's why he says "but Dre Day only meant Eazy's pay day" ...
