Al Pacino was different in all three Godfather’s. In the first one, he was a personable man and very human knowing of what he’s getting into. By the time his father is looking into the fish aquarium and he’s announcing the move to Nevada, he remains a cold, stolid, and businesslike man. In his personal life, he’s cold and cruel. In part 3, he’s become a human being again, outgoing, jovial, and caring, but haunted by his cruel ways from before.

My favorite scene in the god father that I think is so underrated is the hospital scene from beginning to end. It was so tense and almost horror film like hiding his dad. Remember that Michael Franzese is a bit biased when it comes to Henry Hill (Liotta's character). He admits that it's a good movie and good performance but Scorcese's Henry Hill was portrayed in a much better light in the movie than the actual guy in real life. It's basically the movie Henry Hill would make of himself - not accurate when it comes to Hill.

Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger scared the fuck out of me! There's a scene when he goes upstairs and talks to the wife of one of his men, she's heard or said something she shouldn't have. Then Depp as Bulger stands at the door and talks to her in a low voice. He never yells or gets physical, even his words are innocuous; but the scene utterly terrifying.
