These girls really know where the heart of this story lies....of course the action and fight sequences would be amazing but at the core it is about Mob gaining that self confidence and being comfortable in his own skin, for who he is or wants him to be (him being protagonist of his own life, as Reigen said to him)

Mob and Emi influenced each other so much in short amount of time. Mob's emotions spiked when Emi asked him out. But it did not even change 1% when she told him truth about her approaching him because of a dare and how he does not allow himself to feel his own emotions. Mob really really took truth out from her words and internalised it and made the decision to consider his feelings more. Seeing this change in Mob also allowed Emi to take a firm stance regarding her novel infront of her friends who tore it down. And It is just amazes me that how conscious effort Mob makes about not using his psychic powers. Everyone expects Mob to use his powers from the get go to put the novel back together....but Mob starts Picking up Emi's novel piece by piece. He only used his power when it became humanely impossible for anyone to put it back together.

my favourite part about this episode is knowing that Mob while extremely potent in psychic powers can't magically restore things without knowing how they are composed. Mob truly memorized every word of the novel for it to be perfectly pieced together

@@thejadedjester4935 he was also at 100% sadness, which filled him with complete empathy which is how I choose to see how he experienced seeing the school. Also while more complex than pieces of paper, it is easier to recreate a building than a book you haven't read

@@KingPeggy4 I feel like the same powers were involved in putting each brick that made up a wall together as would be involved in putting each scrap that made up a page- it just seems a bit too much of a headcanon to present as factual in the show The scene is already plenty sweet and emotional without trying to add a layer that I don't believe is backed by anything shown in the show, that is not to say there's anything wrong with the headcanon-it just came across a bit odd to present it as if it wasn't, unless there is a scene that does support it I can't remember.

it's one of the best I've ever seen! And yeah I think most people take a few episodes in season 1 to actually get to know what the show's all about and the unique writing and animation style which can be pretty overwhelming. By season 2 you can just jump straight in

Back in the episode when Mob joins the body improvement club we see in a flashback that Tsubomi already knew Mob has psychic powers since they were both kids, to the point where she was even unimpressed by them. So that little moment at the end here wasn't her finding out Mob has powers.

Some little things that can go unnoticed because the episode is too wholesome: 1. The tomatoes that are grown with psychic powers are not good, because good things take time and care 2. Reigen is cool with getting paid in seeds, he's not that greedy (it's just that this is his job) 3. Tsubomi notices Mob: she's surprised he wants to be president (just as she thinks it's cute how he's treating that girl)

Also, Emi is really insecure, and have big reactions too little things Mob says. Most of what he said wasn't offensive, but she get's offended until he explains he's not being sarcastic or something, because she's not used to people being genuine

What I love most about mobs growth is how much his selflessness and humility inspires all the people around him to change and be better. Like emi here but in season 1 ritsu, Teru, even dimple to an extent. And people look up to him so much that even without seeking attention, there is a religion dedicated to him, now a girl writing a book about him, etc. It’s not about his fights or his power. It’s all about his character and how good hearted he is. That’s what makes him truly special, not his strength

At first I agreed with the characters who wanted Mob to use his psychic powers to make his life easier, but as I learned about Mob and his dedication to kindness, I realised that Mob is perfect the way he is and the show is about everyone else learning that he was right all along. “The truth behind one’s charm is kindness,” in the words of Reigen.

Not true. He reassembled Teru's school in season one perfectly only having seen like 4 rooms. It's just an ability to put things back together. But he did read the whole thing, from what we understand in that previous scene.

@@rinne-8810 you know, you do have a point. But what I’m mainly going off of is the fact that Emmi said “you didn’t even read it did you?” Or something along those lines. And in the ending he repaired it perfectly how it was. I personally just find it more wholesome and fitting to Mob’s character to repair his friend’s novel because he read it and understood it all the way through and knew how to repair it. Thinking about it, it may be a plot hole, but idk cause now you got me thinking😂
