The naacp has the nerve to to talk to the DA about letting them all go! The Macon-Bibb County Branch of the NAACP says the charges against five people arrested for vandalism at a Macon Walmart are too severe. Gwenette Westbrooks, president of the organization, said the parents of the suspects reached out to her asking for help. The five are charged with felonies including rioting, damage to property, and street gang activity. They all remain in jail. "Their bonds are too high," Westbrooks said in a telephone interview with 13WMAZ. "We're asking for their bonds to be reduced and we're asking for them to be released ... they're not being treated fairly. "It's not gang related," Westbrooks added. "Just because more than three people are together doesn't mean they're in a gang."

An embarrassment to their parents and families. Luckily there were no police. Sadly, this isn't just kids stuff anymore. Everything matters! Too much foolery can cause a whole lot of pain for the safety of these immature and misguided kids, the employees trying to make a buck, and any customers present, and loss of life. Hopefully, each person is found out and fined or they can wear an orange vest and pick up trash along the street.

i've lived in bad neighborhoods before and seen this happen a few times. one of them was in a walgreen's. i understand the shoplifting, but they had stones and bricks and smashed a few windows as well. walgreen's is a corporate chain, but as a pharmacy it plays a role in community healthcare. so i don't understand why they would want to physically damage a store that provides an essential service that isn't easy to replace. i'm sure some of them had older relatives who get their prescriptions filled there since they were close enough to walk to that store where i witnessed the incident.

Evidence so far, except in cases of mutations and birth defects, shows that environment plays a very large role the IQ of an ordinary individual, while hereditary mostly predisposes someone to be "intelligent." It doesn't meant that contrary evidence won't be found in the future. You didn't mention race, but there has been genetic evidence from multiple papers to show that there is no such thing as race, and no evidence so far for the biological existence of race. It is most likely the environment that these kids/teens have been raise in, that they are OK with the consequences of their negative actions.

But John, it's clear that the so-called "scientists" that push the agenda claiming that race is just a social construct, don't know how to interpret data correctly, or they are lying through their gilded teeth for political reasons. Humans are 80 % related to the DNA of frogs. Is the classification of species just a social construct? That is absurd. The 2 % difference in human DNA is a vast amount when we're speaking of a molecular level. Of course, environment will always play some role. But, The Bell Curve doesn't lie
