the turbo m30 is a well kept secret. The core engines are getting expensive now though.

M30 engines can put up with quite a bit of boost. I meet a guy here in South Florida bout 20 years ago with a ratty looking e30 that sounded like a cam’d V8 but has a cut out in the hood with a rusty looking turbo peeking out. He pop the hood and has a m30 with a huge holset turbo off a dodge Cummins 😂. The car dynoed a little over 500hp on MegaSquirt ECU. Junkyard motor too 👍
