Lucky enough to have been following Chris way before the infamous first Singer video, a video that I come back to from time to time just as motivation material for myself. I remember distincly how Rob described his obsession with the perfect 911 in his mind, and Chris impatiently asking the next question, confused and amazed at how deep the rabbit hole was at the time, cause nobody was doing it, nobody would even dare to "reimagine" anything, let alone one of the most iconic cars ever. A lot of imitations have come and gone, but Singer is the original, the OG resto mod, and always will be ahead of everyone else. And even if now the yellow-ish, graffiti painted, shed became a pristine factory with pure white floors and walls, I'm glad to see Rob and Chris did not change a bit, they obsessively nerd over the same stuff, just like 11 years ago. Thank you both for being who you are. Thanks Singer for fueling our 911 obsession.

Yeah, sure... "You didn't pay attention to Porsches, until you first saw a Singer".... Wow, interesting. Listen, dude: this sounds so unbelievably snobbish and totally arrogant. Singer isn't that special at all. The fact that Singer is an American company, which builds its wealthness on the back of old Porsche 911 is just laughable. Singer are just 911 tuners, which have been existing in Germany since the 1970's! Therefore Singer and its oh so praised "quality" isn't that special at all. There are many 911 restaurators and tuners, which give you that feeling and quality of a perfect 911 restauration plus a tuned engine, but for only 1/4 of Singer money! Singer today, with such a ridiculously huge tuning "factory", is the perfect example for automotive cultural appropriation of a German car icon! In this factory, I can only see lots of aircooled Porsche 964, which are transformed to 911 Turbos / 930's, but not "Singers". Even the name "Singer" is totally ridiculous and almost shameless, because it was just "borrowed without asking" from Norbert Singer, the Porsche 956/962 racing engineer legend. By the way: For me as a German, Corvettes always were just huge POS on wheels. A Corvette, for me personally, is still the symbol of American car lazyness and cheap "quality" wannabe sports cars. Corvette is just a wannabe, it's trash, but nothing more. Today it's a wannabe midengined sports car, "like a Ferrari", which it isn't at all. The Porsche 911 has always been totally true to its core and its roots. This car is an icon, like almost no other in the automotive world. Compared to Corvette, Porsche is just pure magic and many steps above these cheap plastic cars. You are such a clown, dude! Greetings from Germany

I do wish there were more "pure sound" clips because I enjoyed listening to all the subtle noises and turbo whistles. Restomod is really the bee's knees. Start with a great base and make it your own, highlighting the goods while addressing the shortcomings. Singer take the ball and run with it yet true car people tend to aspire to similar results, each within their means. Thanks for sharing this excellent little film. All cars should be manufactured with at least a mere fraction of that passion. The world would be better for it on so many levels.

I guess even from the outside we could see that was true from Singer’s output, but this video has really showcased it. Quality comes at a cost, but other industries could learn a lot from prioritising it in the way Singer have. What an incredible company Rob had created. Far more than he probably ever imagined in the beginning. What a legacy. He will go down in history as creating some of the greatest Porsche's ever! These machines are collectors items before they are even made by Singer! No depreciation at all, only APPRECIATION, and a lot of it! These cars are the dream of many a drivers out here in the real world. I've never even seen one of these beautiful machines in person and probably never will unless it's in a museum or something. The fit and finish and attention to detail is what really draws me to these cars. I absolutely love the way they go to the next level when it comes to not only the details, but take EVERYTHING in and on that car to the next level. Is is really a Porsche anymore? Or is it something else? Everything that Porsche did originally is pretty much gone. It looks like a Porsche, but it is really something far better than a Porsche could ever imagine to be. Stunningly beautiful automobiles. I need to go buy a lottery ticket!

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SINGER DO THEIR MAGIC ON A PORSCHE 928! Now THAT would be incredible. Ever since Tom Cruise drove that 928 in Risky Business I have lusted after one of those things. I love the 911, but for me that 928 was tops! I guess because I was a late teen during that time period. I know that's really not their "forte" so to speak, but gosh darn would it be awesome if they did one of those. I'd love to see what one could become after the Singer treatment. I still lust after one of those 928's! To me, that was the ultimate back when I was in high school. I grew up in Daytona Beach, FL and I used to see a lot of high end sports cars and supercars growing up driving around Daytona.
