Why was I not surprised, especially when I saw that it's happening in Tennessee? In 2009, my brother purchased a fairly new double wide home to use as a warehouse. The trailer was in a park in Smyrna Tennessee. From day 1, we heard the management pulled scams, and we should try to move the home asap . Sure enough, we saw evictions for highly questionable things monthly . We were told that the park owners changed the rules about decks and ours needed replaced even though the construction person said the deck was in great condition. After that expense, they said the construction guy wasn't prior approved, and the next thing my brother knew, his new deck was replaced by a person hired by the management, and my brother billed $8000. When he told them he wasn't paying it, they evicted him owing $130000 on the home. This situation isn't unique. It's standard operating procedure. Gotta get the poor out and bring in a developer who will build something the local authorities can collect more taxes on...the crooked and legal American Way.
@playdohsrepublic35628 ай бұрын
Have you ever read the United States Constitution? Oh. Then you know that presidential executive orders are unconstitutional, illegal, and null and void. Don't it make you wonder just how many "laws" aren't really legal and enforceable? I guess when you let someone tell you what the constitution says instead of reading it yourself, then anything they want to do is legal. Almost everything the United States government does is against constitutional statutes. So why don't you figure out who's really running things in Washington, D.C. Maybe you'll realize they're not really American. The true American way isn't crooked and illegal. The Americans are too dumbed down to see it.

You may own your trailer, but you have to lease the Lot you put it on if you don't have your own land. Property taxes go up, so does your Lot fee and then it gets to the point that the land is worth more if the owner sells it. Sad situation for the people who are forced to move out.
@VincentPSmithSr9 ай бұрын
ive dealt with it from both sides....the landowner probably has an issue with people not paying their rent or land fees and hes tired of dealing with it, also having to go through the court is very costly, then there are the damages. SO then you have the renter, that lives in a mobile home infamous for rusting out the axles and frames/walls adjusting after it has set for a while aand will also readjust during a move. hence why it will cost as much as $10k in some areas, mainly for the equipment replacement on the unit being moved. I recently had to have someone removed for nonpayment of rent, destruction of property, harassment, and threats. Me as the homeowner should not have to go through that as a honorable owner. you have to understand there is a squatter epidemic and alot of people will not pay their bills and expect to live for free anywhere they want and people are getting tired of it..,....the good people suffer while the criminals make it harder for everyone. no the individual here was the exception, but she is the victim now because of what the landowner has chosen to do but for his own reasons....greed is not always the reason....it might cost him too much to deal with and hes not doing it anymmore

Evictions have been happening more since the plandemic because the government stepped into a landlords business and totally screwed with them. Renters took advantage of that situation and didn’t pay their rent. It’s PAYBACK time for the landlords. Karma is a b i t c h and now the landlords are sticking it to the renters. For the honest folks that paid their bills and are getting evicted anyway, I do feel bad for them.

the problem with the news media they skew the information to make landlord bad tenant victim, there are alot of reasons someone might sell a park, not enough money to renovate ther properties or taxes go up insurance goes up, as some said they just dont want to pay the rent, many are privvy to sqatter laws and how they are abused by the courts.

Laws favor landlords? You mean the people who own the property? Well shouldn’t it? You can have rights but why should someone NOT have laws to protect themselves? That means both parties. Everyone tries to make landlords out to be the bad guys all the time. Why? Because people want something for nothing. This is very unfortunate, however, these people knew the deal when they signed the lease. The news always has a sob story. This is why it’s so important to make sure you yourself are covered in the event of something like this. People think things will stay the same, but when you rent, you need to be prepared because you have no say, you signed a lease, you are responsible for your own life.

i would like to his side of the story, notice they do not interview the landlord who they were paying rent ot, bet you get a different perspective that tenants are not always the innocent victims the news protrays them to be. it would be nice if they taught in school economics, how to plan for the future, to work at being as self sufficient as possible and to be as independant as possible while you can so when you get old your have a good budget possibly money saved etc, and always buy with a view to owning the land and home. never do lot rent I heard horror stories, a guy up the street renovate a trailor park the trailor are super nice you buy them but pay lot rent, to me that is a trap.

Maybe they should all buy a piece of land together with extra lots and then they will own their own land and they can rent the others out at a higher price since they took the risk. Maybe they could find land that’s owner financed or maybe someone local or a local bank would do it for them. They could start a go fund me account for the down payment..I hope you’re able to help them find a way, it’s not right that our Seniors are being treated this way.
