Do you ever go melee? I've been trying to do CG the last day with no luck, but I've yet to try T2 armor, but the issue with it seems having time to mine the extra armor pieces, AND finding the dark beast + dragon. Do you only go through with those games where you find mage + range, or do you melee aswell?

T1 armor is better if your stats are high/have raids prayers. You save 2-3 minutes with it every run. If you want to do T2 though, you always have plenty of time to prep T2. You just have to work on your pathing, which is a matter of practice and experience. On PC I usually finish T2 prep with 1-2 minutes remaining. And yes, I prioritize getting the staff and bow but I do melee as well if I only find bears.

Damn, the difference between T1 armor with 99def and T2 armor with 74def is so huge, you barely take damage, while I get slapped with constant 15s :D

@@princedjll4912 From regular attacks, yes. When I wrote the comment I still was learning and got hit by tornadoes a lot, so constant 15s sounds about right.

@@dominikpecuch2177 I think tornadoes can hit like 20-25 through T1 armor. If you’re using T1 and you stop moving and get hit by 2+ tornados + a floor tile at the same time, you likely just instantly die. But yeah, I do get your point that 15 is just an average.

This is a bit anal of me but I couldn't help laughing at you pointing out you're ironman while doing possibly the only content in the game where it is 100% irrelevant whether you're an Ironman.

Iron does explain why I’m doing CG without rigour/augury which are both very cheap and make it easier. It also helps the video show up more in search results.

@@IronLeBlanc yeah i guess the prayers are the 1 thing that means irons are at a big disadvantage, still if you're 99 range with hawk eye you'll out-dps me with 91 range and rigour.

@@TheUndulyNoted I was 90 or 91 range in the vid too I believe. Without rigour and 99 range, the staff is actually a better weapon than the bow since the staff always has a max hit of 39 regardless of your level and prayers. With the bow and eagle eye at 91 I can only max 35 or 36. But Rigour and 99 range could max 41 IIRC.

@@IronLeBlanc Oh cool I never knew that. Tbh without rigour I'd probs be using the halberd as much as possible since even with rigour it's the best dps, just gets very tricky sometimes in the final phase with the hally pulling you onto the lava tiles.
