I like it, even though the story omits Challia Bull and M'Quve and the sequence of events is altered much closer to that of the Novel form: "Mobile Suite Gundam: Awakening, Escalation, Confrontation" which is a novel I own and seems to be three-in-one compilation that applies extreme "realism" by powering down all Newtype faculties but also fleshing out their "realism" as natural emergence that was once cultivated by Samurai and other famed martial arts masters throughput history(specifically the lone hero cowboy with his 6th sense for danger and sure shot or dead-eye aiming ability). Thank you for uploading this Nostalgia.

I like the sound effect used for the Zeong's head cannon, finger cannons, and torso cannons used in the original Japanese version of the final two episodes more than the sound effect used for the Zeong's head cannon and finger cannons in even the original, theatrical audio of the final movie and the sound effect used for the Zeong's torso cannons in even the original, theatrical audio of the final movie. I love that sound effect from the Zeong's head cannon/finger cannons/torso cannons used for the RX-78-2 Gundam's famous "Last Shooting/Final Shot" scene in the original Japanese version of the final episode (43) more than the sound effect of the Zeong's head cannon/finger cannons used in even the original, theatrical audio of the final movie.

Seriously Sunrise/Bandai, just take audio from a dubbed version and slap it on this. Even if it's from a VHS, we won't complain if the quality is a little lower. Besides, part of the charm of the original series/movies is how great it is despite the imperfections and mistakes.

The english dub isn't that bad, certainly not as bad as Macross: Do You Remember Love. And there are plenty of series with great english dubs, like Eighty-Six, Mushoku Tensei, the original Ocean Studios dub of Gundam Seed... Seriously, the english dub of Eighty-Six freaking nails it, and I highly recommend it.

건담은 언제봐도 영원한 명작입니다. 봐도 봐도 또 보고 싶어지는 작품입니다. 모든 건담 시리즈 통틀어도 제타건담과 더불어 최고의 명작 역습의 샤아를 종착점으로 비로소 마무리 됬지만 시작점인 건담은 근본입니다. 건담인포에서 퍼스트 건담 만큼은 언제든 볼 수 있게 상시 상영했으면 좋겠네요 그리고 번역이 종종 의역한답시고 완전히 다르게 번역하거나 생략한 부분들이 있어서 번역이 아쉽습니다.

The Zabi family dynasty (Zegwin, Dozle, Gihren, Kycillia, Garma), dysfunctional backstabbers. Garma died in an ambush, by giving him false information cooked up by Char Aznable, Kycillia was also killled by Char with a bazooka to her face!!! Gihren killed by his sister for murdering his dad, Dozle died a hero at the battle of Solomon and Duke Zegwin (meeting with Admiral Revil for peace negotiations) killed by Gihren with a Solar Ray weapon for being too wise and completely past his prime. Mineva (Dozle's daughter and Zegwin's granddaughter) on the other hand, became the last descendant of the Zabi dynasty as a mysterious girl in UC 0096 upon meeting with Banagher Links.
