It's actually easy to see where that shift in maturity truly happened. It's still aggravating how pathetic she was wailing at Crete, but then she finds many Takemikazuchi survivors who still swear loyalty to her, and ordered by Col. Todaka, also a loyalist to what ORB stands for, to join her. She needed them. They were the vindication that her efforts even in her weakened state were not for nothing. Notice that after that, she stops being the broken husk the Seirans wore her down into.

Kinda one of the better episodes of the second half. a lot of Minerva side and Athrun finally answers back to Kira's preachyness, not in a rude way too finally lol. The Shinn/Luna & Athrun/Cagalli hugs were pretty heartwarming, and dang finally some relationship development

To be fair, Kira wasn't really what you call preachy at all for the show. Honestly, the only time he could be considered preachy is in the finale. He just spoke cynical hard truth and his distrust towards Durandal, and Athrun's head was very far up his own ass at that time. And before the Takemikazuchi survivors joined up, Kira was clearly fuming the whole time from ep 13 to that point, and why wouldn't he be? He had no proof that it WASN'T Durandal who tried to have Lacus offed, and the Seirans were about to turn his sister into a puppet and a trophy. Frankly, I saw a lot of Rau's cynicism in him, which just show that though Kira ended his direct threat, Rau beat him otherwise.

I would argue the reason for the jump is not because Kira a walking god, but Orb has poor military leadership, a problem it had in GS and GSD. Look at the US... I mean the Atlantic Federation. Its president is content to leave military matters to professional soldiers. But Orb has this weird practice of appointing leaders or specialist in other fields to become military leaders while their own career soldiers are good at sitting at tables waiting for an idiot like Jona bleat out orders. Even after Cagalli assumed control,she had to do the work.

The first remark is about how even a coordinator like meyrin is shocked on how fast Kira types and coded in the maintenance system. The second remark is basically not that complicated. Cagalli got her stand in ORB again in this episode so she can basically switch it up for Kira easily. However it does show how lazy the creators are in actually explaining these rank changes that we need a gundam seed encyclopedia by fans to even analyze the sudden badge change in Kira’s uniform.

I interpreted Kira's jump in rank from what he believes to be his role in the war. In the beginning of GSD, him and the Archangel were reacting to battles and just joined ongoing conflicts. Here in this episode Kira is finally joining the fight and being proactive in the war. From a pawn in the game, he finally became the queen.

Now I'm older, I think their position was somewhat similar to Romeo n Juliet. Fortunately both didn't die tragically and Athrun still went back to Cagalli even though in this episode Cagalli seems like already let him go. She made her choice twice and Athrun should finally understood that she will prioritize her country and the people more than herself. It's satisfying to know that in GSF, Athrun accept her and loves her as she is (She loves Orb)

Nicol and the Blitz proved you could easily infiltrate bases and sabotage stuff with ease in the beginning of Seed. Heck, we've even seen ships have mirage colloid afterwards, so it's not like it's some super difficult tech to replicate. Out of universe, it was also a great opportunity for Bandai to make a "stealth pack" for Impulse and have an extra product to sell.

Freedom, Justice and Providence were made by reverse engineering the Gundams that were stolen and combining them with coordinator tech. Same for Impulse, which is basically Strike 2.0. I don't remember the exact episode in Seed where a ship used stealth tech, so I'm not 100% certain if it was used by Earth or ZAFT, but I seem to remember it being used by ZAFT in that case. But even if I'm mistaken, ZAFT had the tech for years now. In fact, one of the first things Le Creuset says is that it's okay for the pilots to use the stolen Gundams because their MS' data was already sent to HQ.

지브릴이 레퀴엠을 발사하고 그런 지브릴을 자프트가 처리하는 그림 자체가 듀렌달이 원했던 것임. 듀렌달의 최종목표가 데스티니 플랜의 천명이었고 그것을 바탕으로 지구와 플랜트를 통합시키려고 했었음. 그 계획의 가장 큰 방해자가 라크스클라인과 그 일파였고 라크스클라인을 암살하려는 시도가 실패하는 바람에 계획이 틀어지기 시작함. 실제로 라크스 클라인이 민중의 앞에 나서고 여론이 양분하자 듀렌달은 급하게 계획을 진행하기 시작했고 덕분에 타케미카즈치, 이터널, 아크엔젤의 삼척동맹을 위시한 오브가 다시 자프트와 싸울 수 있는 명분이 생겨나버림. 오브 vs 자프트 자체는 자프트의 압승이지만 키라야마토라는 개연성 뒤틀린 씹사기캐 때문에 전황자체가 불리해졌고 원래 이런 상황자체를 예견했던 듀렌달은 아스란을 구워삶아서 신과 함께 자신의 방패로 만들려고 했지만 결과적으로 실패했고 그런 아스란 대신에 넣었던 레이가 거하게 똥을 싸버리며 전쟁에서 패배하게 되어버림. 애초에 모든 상황 자체가 라크스 클라인 쪽이 유리한 상황이었고 듀렌달은 그 와중에 나름대로 전략을 잘짜서 판을 여기까지 끌고왔음. 무서운 놈 맞음.
