Just let me say this..."BANG" is now in my trunk beating trying to get out!! I love the post amp connector that I bought from you guys last week. My 07 Acura TL sounds so good now. I have my factory radio and factory amp plus my aftermarket amp and subwoofers. Thanks again Mobile Max. Ohh yeah. Please keep making the plug and play harnesses.

Thank you so much for selling these plug and play harnesses. I actually bought one for my 07 TL so I can put my sub and amp combo in sometime tomorrow or Tuesday. Let you know how it goes. I'm keeping it factory but I may invest in the new Tesla screen. Who knows... still reviewing your reviews on it. Thanks a million

I really can't say thank you enough for taking the time to make this video. Liked/subscribed which is the best thank you I can offer. You answered several questions which I have spent months searching the web trying to answer, mostly having to due with tapping into the sub line before the factory amp and what line driver to get. This video really does a great job breaking down info from novice to somewhat technical. Being a great teacher is a rare gift. Thank you again.

Hey man I appreciate you doing your thing. You got a lot of great content, you're thorough, and the videos are well thought out. But, they're tough to follow. Start the video with the finished product so we know what to expect, then jump right in. Work on your camera skills or get someone else to do the filming. Sometimes the camera isn't pointed at what you're talking about so I have no clue what you're trying to show. Other times the camera is too far away to see anything in detail. Looking forward to more videos.

I wish they made good interior replacement pieces. I've already done my headliner in a nice black diamond pleather material. But my car is white with a tan interior. It's hard to even find a new carpet for the Acura TL. I do love your stock amp replacement. But I'd want another amp specifically for subs. How difficult would that be? All of the wire harnesses, the soundproofing (for my rear speaker deck).. the previous owner cut the bottom hole where the free air sub would go... and bent the metal piece which has now messed up the carpet liner that fits under the rear speaker deck. If I'm putting a 12in sub for the trunk would it be overkill to keep the free air 8in sub that's hooked to the MB Quarts 5 channel amp? While I do enjoy the bass the 8in sub puts out I want a little more... but when mapping out my trunk for an air tank, compressor, etc... id only have enough box room for 1x 12in sub. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you for the detailed video and selling the plug and play setup. So I was trying to tap into the sub signal before the stock amp and I was only getting .2v. I tried turning up the sub volume in the radio settings and it was still 0.2 so I started to question the rcas or tap things. I ended tapping in after the amp and gave left it like that since.

Is there bass roll off using the pre amp low level signal for an aftermarket subwoofer amp or is that only on the post amp high level signal??
@JoinTheCyborgs3 жыл бұрын
I spliced into the factory sub-out for my install and there definitely is a bass roll off.
@cacjack18303 жыл бұрын
@@JoinTheCyborgs was this pre amp or after the amp??
@SnubBarracuda2 жыл бұрын
I was told that both the signal before and after the amp are capped at 80hz and I should keep my low pass set really high to avoid conflicting and causing a ton of rolloff.

I keep getting hum in my sub. I am using the harness that gives the 1 RCA cable. It happens from 1000rpm to 2000rpm. If tried 4 different ground locations. Ive pulled my signal and remote wires out and just ran them through the seat pass through. Ive even put in a ground filter. What's weird is that it will go away if I open my door. Any thoughts?
@MobileMaxCarAudio3 жыл бұрын
You are the third person we have heard of this issue. When they open the door it will go away, if its a type S then make sure to unplug the Noise Cancelling brain below the center channel. If it's not a type s then it could be some sort of interference from the alternator.
@manathegreat823 жыл бұрын
@@MobileMaxCarAudio yes it is a type S. I will do this and report back for others. Thanks

Definitely found that mounting the amp to the box was a bad idea. Had to send back my Phoenix Gold ZX500 back to be fixed cause I had it mounted on a box with 2 Rockford 12's.

Was there a reason some amp manufacturers stopped putting fuses on their amps? Edit: i love your channel but the constant repeating of yourself sometimes gets way too redundant.
