So your saying you bought a kicker sub put it in the rear deck replaced the oem sub ? And your still running on the factory amp and plug and play? If so does it affect your factory speakers ? Like the door ones and the back ones? And people are saying it’s gonna sound like shi if I run that kicker sub off of that factory amp will it and does it sound any different?

The factory amp only pushes 40watts to the subwoofer speaker I bought an aftermarket amp to throw 200 watts at my subwoofer but I got a different sub and put it in a box 😅

No I'm sorry we do not I know navtv used to sell an adapter that does something similar navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT885/rgbv2.html ultimatly you need an rgbs video switcher

So say if I had that same kicker sub put it in the rear deck but run it through the factory amp will that affect the stock speakers? And if I have a upgraded amp does it connect to all speakers or just that sub? And will there be 2 amps 1 factory and the other amp for that sub ? If that makes since ?

The pioneer can go from 4 ohms to 1 ohm. Dual 2 drops to 1 ohm. Dual to raises in series to 4 ohms. No big just clarifying. I think that is right. Sorry, if that is wrong. I have been sippin the sauce tonight.

If its dual 2 ohm you can wire it in parallel to 1 ohm, or in series to 4 ohms. If you have a dual 4 ohm you can wire it down to 2 ohms parallel or 8 ohms in series.

That is the exact sub I have on my rear deck lid I have not fully wired it up yet but as far as fitment it does fit if you modify the trunk trim just be advised once installed and you reinstall the rear deck lid over it it won't be flush anymore pushes it up a little bit

I’m not looking to get another radio for a couple months but can I still grab the plug and play setup and amp? Will it work with factory radio? I do have aftermarket sub so not worried about losing the channels, just want to know if I can get better sound on factory radio, that way when I get a radio it will be ready to go

Yes the plug and play amps will work with the factory radio but you will lose the center channel audio. Yeah you can use the 4 channel amp to get better sound out of the factory radio.

That is just regular speaker wire. The kicker sub is the best for your factory amp.

yes the new tablet has a sub out, the old one you have to use a y splitter

No sorry, you will need to combine the two steering wheel control button circuits with a 150ohm resistor and then manually program the steering wheel interface.

Yeah no reason you can't. I have seen others do this but we haven't done it yet ourselves but as long as the driver fits in the whole you should be good

I highly doubt it. Factory size is 8 inch so I wouldn't bother changing to a different size at all
