I have the Spigen GaN III 1402 PD3.1 140W charger model PE2109UJ. It supports 140W 28V/5A EPR on the port that's marked with a laptop icon. The other port is 100W SPR 20V/5A. I use it as my bedside charger for my 16" MBP M1 Max. Plug the MagSafe 3 cable into one port, then the other. Check what System Information - Power - AC Charger Information shows for each. One will say 140W, while the other will say 100W. When you test charger protocol support with your KM003C you either need to have an EPR cable connected on the other side or use EPR cable emulation. Generally, a real cable is more reliable. Always test all ports on a charger individually with nothing else plugged into a multiport charger. Some cables are active and will limit power on adjacent ports simply by being plugged in without a device. The Voltme Revo 100W does not have an OSHA NRTL recognized safety listing e.g UL, ETL, TUV, SGS, etc. That's a red flag.

FYI Ugreen has 3 different categories for their Nexode line of chargers. (Nexode, X Nexode, Pro Nexode). After doing some research the specs on the X Nexode line of Ugreen chargers seem to be better than the "Pro Nexode" line.

One of them was on the table (150W I think?), I am assuming it didn’t make the top 5. I really like my 120W 737 (although it only outputs 100W and the power splitting is stupid). I may get their super tiny 100W one.

This crappy "reviewer" repeatedly does this on these videos. Claims to test lots of units, "recommends" 5, omits all information about the other models tested; apparently, viewers must meticulously pause the video to figure out the other models tested because just "trust me bro" is in effect. Also, by the channel name it's Canadian, but are the quoted prices from Amazon Canada or Amazon US? The distinction for the pricing is never stated.

Ankers' 100w charger is now only $42 for AmazonPrime, which imo makes this entire video obsolete. I personally got the Aohi and couldn't be happier. I even got 120W from a single port using Aohi's 240W cable. Why isn't the ugreen 300w on here?

According to Ugreen, it puts out 140w in single port mode. So it’s at least as good as the Apple single charger. In 2-port mode it puts out 100w + 60w, then 65w+65w+30w in 3-port mode, and 65w+65w+5+5 in 4-port mode

I own an iPhone, Apple Watch, and MacBook Air, which collectively utilize three USB Type-C ports with three different connectors (MagSafe, Watch charger, and the MBA magnetic cord). If I ever need to charge another device, like headphones with a USB-C to USB-C connection, I have to disconnect one of the existing cables. It would be convenient if one of these companies could develop a 140-160W charger with four USB-C ports.

3:15 you say that as if that’s the be all end all answer to trusting a reviewer. I’m not saying that this is what you’re doing, but since you brought it up, someone in your position could still be fudging results to direct people towards a specific product in the lineup because you get a bigger kick back from that affiliate link out of the bunch. Which could technically still lead a “reviewer” to care about which product a viewer buys. On a more positive note: good review. I respect the dedication. That’s a lotta chargers. And the addition of the dog dialog is cute.

Let me tell you that Ao hi is actually a charger OEM for Xiaomi, OPPO, and Huawei. This is their own brand. I don't know if Amazon sells the 140W Youth Edition. The efficiency and ripple will be lower. If you want your iPhone battery to stay healthy for a long time, you should pay attention to a standard "ripple" when choosing a charger. This is the most important factor affecting your battery health. Of course, if your country has a voltage of 110V, ignore this sentence. It also depends on the conversion efficiency. The pursuit of small size will only bring greater heat and reduce the power of the charger. This is something the manufacturer will not tell you directly. The last sentence is that Anker has a bad reputation in China. ❤

The apple charger also has one (kinda cheating) advantage as well. Its free with a MacBook Pro which many might have already if you are looking for a 100+w 3rd party brick. The only downsides to this being if you are looking for a 100w brick to travel with and not a laptop, you only have 1 port.

excellent videos as always. Allow me to quote a very reliable source. Ok, not quote but regurgitate what an attorney who specialized in going after counterfeit electronics told me. He's cut open many, many of these type of units. The weight often comes from simple lead shot they put inside to make it heavy and fool people into thinking it is of higher quality.

I have the Voltme but my use case was to mostly charge around half the watts-steam deck or two phones. I generally don't like the idea of maxing out the capacity and would rather bump up to the next tier, like the 140 Voltme to charge around 100. That might be a PC building power supply way of thinking.

You must be mistaken on the AOHI Magcube 140W. It can charge 140W oit of "each" usb-c port "at the same time." Not a "combined" 140W. So that 280W if you are using both ports at the same time. The AOHI Youth can only do 140W at a time but splits it if you use both ports. The Magcube doesn't. Also, it states that in irder to get the full 140W charging that you "MUST" use their magsafe 3 cable. You didn't use their cable I'm assuming. If none of this is true, then their Amazing page is straight up lying. Let me know.

Another misleading video showing you shouldn't be trusted. You clearly don't understand USB Type-C specifications and how many of these adhere to that. Any model that can achieve over 100W charging through a single Type-C port is using the newer USB Power Delivery 3.1 specification which added Extended Power Range (EPR) capabilities. If it's not listed as such on the packaging, that's the fault of the manufacturer, but it likely is & you neither show the packaging long enough in the video nor clearly display the "fine print" (you claim you read that @ 2:15, but apparently that's not important enough to show to viewers) for anyone to check; you even have a tester (the ChargerLAB Power-Z KM003C, shown @ 5:11) that clearly shows the Apple 140W charger in USB PD 3.1 EPR mode, but remain ignorant to these standards. 3 of the 5 models: the Apple 140W ("#2"), the ugreen nexode pro 160W ("#4")

I have the Spigen GaN III 1402 PD3.1 140W charger model PE2109UJ that he tested. It can charge my 2021 MBP M1 Max 16 at full speed. Verified in both System Information and with my KM003C. He for some reason doesn't think that's the case even though he claims to have thoroughly tested it. Few chargers are USB-IF certified unfortunately but most reputable ones are at least safety listed. The VoltMe he recommended is not safety listed, nor did he mention that it wasn't. That's bad. We're trusting AC chargers with our lives and our homes. People have been electrocuted and chargers have caught fire.
