@SOF006 i definately agree with ya. blackberry is a very buisness/corporate aimed device while iphone and android are aimed toward a younger generation who love social networking(facebook,twitter etc)and media and all the other "bells and whistles)i can remember way back when blackberrys looked like oversized cb's and really didnt do much except for e-mail.the old ones didnt even have cameras. im a "blackberry man" through and through and im glad theyre keeping up with the times 2 make cool phn

Upgraded my BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G yesterday. I love the interface. It runs faster and smoothly than the previous OS, especially the browser, although the OS may take a lot on the phone memory and you may experience some freezing. But I just uninstalled unnecessary apps and languages. Now I don't experience a problem so far.

@ManUtd2k8autum have you even tried os6? it's such a step up from os5.. boot time is twice as fast, a browser that can actually load pages + tabbed browsing for mulitple sites.. the camera is way quicker... everything is improved with os6 so people who "prefer os5" i feel just never tried os6 to begin with

you can't update that if it has a trackball like my curve 8900 you won't be able to upgrade to os 6 or 7 just os 5

I have a white 9300 unlocked, and I have the same problem with OS6 than I did on my 9700, when you go on the internet it says either close some tabs because the memory is too low, or there isn't enough memory or something? Can someone help? :)

@MrHarry102938 man i promise you you will love it! blackberry is the best hands down to me.ive had blkberrys for years and last year i tried out a android phone thinking it would be fun but NOPE.returned it and got my BB back. one of my fave BB features is an instant messaging feature called blackberry messenger.you have a (PIN) number that identifies ur phone and u can IM with ANYONE who has a BB.super cool! you also get your own blackberry e-mail adress and can download cool apps for ur phone!

Why cant this be put on the 8530? its has all the right specs and even tho its not called a 3G it runs 3G. In fact looking at the specs, its specifically list 3G as one of the features. OS 6 in BB 9300 Sucks now my Phone lags and hangs Every 30 mins .. and its Lags for more than 3 or 5 mins :S and other thing that my Battery runs So Fast so my phone totally Fucked up :(.. i Wish i didn't updated it Believe me its Awesome Software but you will be Dispointed of the lags -_-
