For most people it's probably not worth the difference. But a lot of people are watch shows like this are not most people... If you really want to telephoto lens or a huge 120 hz screen, you know who you are. You know a lot of people that are watching these videos are enthusiasts. Very far from "your average consumer." Also depending on where you buy them, you get better trade in deals for the Pixel 6 Pro. They give me $700 for a Note. 9. So it ended up being a lot less expensive for me to get the pixel 6 Pro. Also, after seeing the prices for the s22 line leak, both the phones look ridiculously well priced.

I am ugrading my phone in December. I have always tended to switch brands, but so far I've been happiest and most satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. I was actually considering sticking with Samsung for my next upgrade, but after seeing the jump in quality with the Google Pixel and hearing about the Tensor chip and the photo stabilization, that plan is out the window.

I got the 6. And I love it. There fingerprint sensor is the only issue. But I increased screen sensitivity and added my fingerprint twice. That improved it a lot. Battery life is great.

I can add to this review that the sensor for my predominant thumb is still ify. But I have found it I press harder than just a touch on the screen, that this also tends to improve reliability.

The $599 price is only through Google, all the carriers like at&t and Verizon start at $699. I got mine thru Verizon and love it. I got the sorta seafoam green 256gb.

I ended up getting both. There clearly is a more premium feel with the Pro (screen, haptics, fluidity, camera but it's minimal). Whether that's worth 300 more is debatable

I'm really happy with my pixel 6 it's an excellent phone the voice to text is unreal and the camera is excellent. I know some people have had issues but mine has been great. Thanks for the video 👍

I ended up getting the six cuz I like the flat screen. Of course I'd like to have the telephoto lens but 300 bucks just for that. Didn't seem worth it. The fingerprint scanner got a lot better when I put my finger in multiple times and turned on touch screen sensitivity and now it's working. I'd say 9 out of 10 times so that's good enough for me. One other thing, I do wish the wide-angle lens was a little wider. It's a little narrow for a wide lens if that makes any sense.

That’s not the only difference. The regular 6 is only an old 1080p display. If I spend money, I want the best display 1440p or higher. Content consumption becomes way better.

For me the price is justified with the telephoto lens, 4K (for my movies), and bigger storage options. The edge display took a week to get used to but once you do you appreciate it.

I had a 7T PRO and i hated its curved screen. I choose Pixel 6 just because of flat screen. For me the curved screen is the most dumb "feature" ever created.

Great video. 👍 I was also getting 3-3 1/2 hrs of battery life with my 6. My battery usage didn't show anything unusual which I thought was weird, so I restored the phone. After that I still have bad battery life BUT my battery usage chart started working correctly. It showed me that my Galaxy watch 4 plugin was draining my battery almost 50% a day. I unpaired my Galaxy watch 4 and now I'm getting around 5-7 hrs of battery life. Android 12 is so buggy it might be worth restoring the phone and seeing what happens. Don't even get me started on Google assistant calling people out of nowhere lol. I had to turn that off. I'm hopeful with some software updates things will become more stable. After all, I'd like to use my watch again and take advantage of Google wear os 3...oh the irony 😂

I really wish reviewers knew more about Pixels and how they work. This explains the inconsistent battery life of the 6 and 6 Pro. Pixels have an adaptive battery feature that over time learns to prioritize something's over the other and shut down or slow down things that can kill battery that isn't used so much. Working with your phone or just letting it do its thing gets you there with battery life. One thing some people do, which I've done in the past, is not de-prioritize the apps and functions that the software is wanting to because I think I need it more. Google may need to go and make some things a little more run of the mill to appeal to the masses but Google phones (Nexus and Pixel) have always been enthusiast-focused. People who have a better idea of what's happening with their phone and know how to get the best from Android and it's customizability.

Question what exactly are you doing to get 4 hours of screen on time? I understand that it all depends on usage. Example if you spend 3 hours on the camera then yes you will get 4 hours but if you only use it for basic usage such as KZbin watching or calls and surfing the web then you should and will get more. Also something else to note is that using 5G your battery will die fast. But in my opinion most people don't need speeds as fast as 5G such as watching videos or gaming. But again it is my opinion and like all opinions everyone has them and they all stink😀

I think the extra ram in the Pixel 6 Pro over the lifetime of the two phones will prove to be a significant reason for one's original purchase. Wait and see if I am right on this one.

Even though the Pixel 6 display is slightly smaller than the Pro and has a bezel, do you actually get more screen real estate to read pages of text on the Pro, since the curved edge cuts off some words off because of the warping of the curved edge, or is it the same or less than the regular 6, practically speaking?

Actually with the smallest police, you have more text with the regular 6, because the regular 6 is a 20:9 screen, while the 6 Pro is a 19.5:9 screen. I had both. I prefer the 6 pro screen because it's wider, so easier to type and read. The regular 6 have a taller screen resolution and I don't like that. If the P7 pro is as large as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I would buy it and sell my P6 Pro right away

Ive looked at both in person, and the narrowness of the Pixel 6 is jarring to me. The Pixel 6 pro looks a lot like the Galaxy Note 10+ in person. The Pixel 6 is tall and narrow, and even narrower (at least seemingly) than my S20 FE. Practically speaking, the 6 is the better bang for your buck, but I'm going with the 6 pro because I can't get past the narrowness of the 6.

That’s the one people should get in my opinion. Not just for the telephoto lens, don’t care about that.. but the display on its own. Not worth getting a 1080p display in 2021 , doesn’t make sense. 1440p +120hz is the go to for sure.

The p6 pro is absolutely awesome ,smart phone of the year for me ,I sold my s21 ultra for it and don't regret it one bit ,don't believe all the nonsense about the pixel and I'm getting 9 hours screen on with it by sacrificing 120 hertz and 5g which makes no difference at all as where I live 5g is trash and pixels are so smooth anyway it's not the end of the world turning 120 hertz off.
