Mobula 8 toothpick drone build - Petrel 120X - FPV

hey guys since its 104 degrees out i decided to rebuild the Happy model Mobula 8 into a toothpick! the HGLRC Petrel 120X frame

i hope you enjoy the building imo its satisfying if you build something and it works also its good against the fear of crashing cause you know you can repair it somehow ^^ i hope the new motors fit i was thinking about building a 3.5" quad with the grinderino frame but i lost my 5 " in a field after my lipo died and i had to search for it for 1.5 hours i found it but i might need to fix some stuff on it and i want to put a standalone beeper on so that i dont have to search for it again

i think have a standalone beeper is a good idea, ive lost for a few minutes the mobula. i set off the beeper and its not loud like at all.. im a fan of them

@@WhiteTrashFPV ye i got a beeper on the quad but doesnt help if the lipo is dead... if i loose my micro i just arm it and give it a little bit of throttle to find it i think there is a option in betaflight where you can make the motors buzz that is louder than the beeper i think

i think there is too, or you need to use other software, the one where you can change the way the motors make noise when they boot up but that doesnt make sense, since you would need to hit a switch to make it happen probably something you can google i think @@bluefpv3263

@@WhiteTrashFPV ye wouldnt work with a dead lipo but for tinywhoops its still a good option cause standalone beepers are like 15-20g which would be to heavy for a tinywhoop

i been thinking about it, the reason i didnt is most of my items comes from amazon, and i been using their drop boxes. the bassline wouldnt of shipped to one

@@WhiteTrashFPV oh ok I just suggested it because I have mobula8 and the whoop frame sucks so I turn my’s into the bassline and it fly better for some reason lol
