if you are allergic to certain metals. (i'm allergic to nickel and aluminum.) the Tic watch E is an awesome buy. the clasp is not even metal. the backing is not either(except for the small metal dots for charging and are recessed). i do recommend it. the battery life is based on how much you want to use the interface during the day. i can get 1.5 to 2 days with not a ton of using it.

Only if the Ticwatch 2 ran on Wear OS. It then would be the perfect watch. I don't care for the clear plastic case on the E version. I think it makes it look cheap like a $10 watch at Walmart. I am hoping that there will be more apps coming for the 2 soon. I do like that I can use WatchMaker with my Ticwatch 2 though. Thanks for a great comparison review.

I've had my Ticwatch 2 for over six months and I love it. It's not perfect, wish the battery lasted a bit longer and isn't always connected to your phone, but still a great smart watch. Thank you for the comparison

I love my Ticwatch 2 the best out of all of them as well. It's nice and intuitive with sliding to get to the apps and voice search. I can't stand sliding to just change faces. What a waste. Press and hold makes sense to enter that occasionally used feature. I'm always accidentally changing faces on the E and S. Very frustrating.

There are tons of cheap 20 dollar smart watches/fitness bands that do what you need and work just fine. Dont spend $100+ for simple features like that that you can get so much cheaper.

The only difference I've found in the 2 versions of the Ticwatch 2 is Gorilla Glass for the higher end version. I got a Milanese steel mesh band to go with my Ticwatch 2 and it looks great. But the main difference between the new and old is definitely having Android Wear 2 which is a huge advantage! You get the whole Android Wear Google Play Store, but you lose the slim metal style, the wireless charging, the side "Tic-kle", and the ceramic back. Plus you have to press the button to get to any apps (unless you install a 3rd party launcher). Though the black Ticwatch E looks dressier than the Ticwatch S, and you could enhance it with a nice band for like $10.

That's the only reason I won't buy it. I have the Moto 360 Sport now and the band is breaking. Can't replace it, but I LOVE THE WATCH.Also love the Look of the Tic S. I wonder if the factory can replace the band if it breaks and how much that would cost. Oh well...

They're all about equal as for running OS5.1, only the ones with 1GB RAM seem to be in the sweet spot -- enough RAM to support offline speech to text recognition, and not too much to be a drain on battery. So look over the 1GB/16GB watches for the one you like. 2GB/16GB would be OK too, but I'd recommend staying away from watches with less than 1GB RAM and 16GB storage if you want the "best".

With the 2 on your left wrist set for the button on the right and the S on your right wrist with the button to the left, you'll be matched! Actually, the E is closer to the 2 then the S. Mrs. Ticks wears the E and I wear the 2 and we really look like two peas in a pod when we hold hands. For me the tickle got old real fast. even if it were smooth (which it's not) I don't think I'd ever get used to it. Two step process rubbing the watch then touching the screen when I can do it all from a single touch on the screen. Just my experience.

No, sorry I don't. Remember, don't push the buttons when the watch is wet, and don't expect the screen to work properly when touched if the watch or your fingers are wet. This applies to all smartwatches.

I don't know if there ever was an original Ticwatch, but the Ticwatch 2 had a "tickle" spot on the side, since the name. Then came the Ticwatch E and S, released at the same time, base on true Android Wear (the Ticwatch 2 was based on pure Android but did some Android Wear stuff like accepting custom Android Wear watch faces).

The original Ticwatch was only released in China. Ticwatch 2 was the international version of that watch. The S and E versions are their newest watches.

In my tests using it, I need the phone nearby for it to work. It might work without the phone and only over WiFi if you have WiFi turned on in the watch, but I haven't checked that.

No, sorry, due to new policies they aren't renewing or reissuing codes after they expire. Best is to buy within a few days of a review, as they only set aside a few and usually for 2 weeks to a month. I might get a new wave of Ticker coupons for the whole line if they release a new one in the future. I'll try.

Is it just me or did this guy just completely neglect the ticwatch s? That's what I came here for mainly... that and a comparison between all 3 but the only thing I learned from this video about the ticwatch s is that it has a rubbery band with the gps antennae in it and it has a different charger from the ticwatch 2 and that's it. He didn't push any buttons on it or show it's layout by swiping or anything. does the bezel around the watch move? did he even try? Through the video its obvious to see he favors the ticwatch 2 out of the 3. Vidoe should have been labeled ticwatch e and ticwatch 2 comparison
