I have yet to purchase this watch and have a question please. If I have the watch Bluetooth set to my phone, then do I need to change it to Bluetooth for NFC in order to make a purchase or can Bluetooth be set up with both at the same time?
@TheJabberTech5 жыл бұрын
Bluetooth and nfc are different chips and work individually

Very good and detail review, how is it if compare to Samsung Galaxy Watch (without LTE)? Since I'm not going to use the LTE function on them. Planning to get either one of them soon
@TheJabberTech5 жыл бұрын
That's tough! It's like form over function. Short answer... GPS is 100% better on the ticwatch,best assistant, better app support, it's now very smooth with the extra ram. Samsung has slightly better standard battery life and has beautiful hardware but apps are limited and GPS is super iffy. Short: go ticwatch

going to try this watch again - The Essential Mode on the TicWatch PRO never showed me all that information when i was on the LCD screen - - is there a setting to change to get all of that information?

As far as I know it's standard when you turn on essential mode. Doesn't show all that much info tho

Appreciate it! I personally like the LCD screen on the ticwatch, it has saved me many times. The Wear3100 would be very interesting but those promised 'sport modes' and decreased GPS battery usage modes have never come through!

As much as I am into the Google ecosystem, got their speakers and chromecast and use Google assistant a lot I don't think this watch is better than the Samsung Galaxy Watch, I don't think batter life should ever be an issue as you can charge it in the morning while your in the shower and getting ready that's a whole hour. Also that rotating bezel is a game changer love it and nothing comes close to it. You can actually use Bixby to open apps and open settings not the greatest but it works.

Got to agree with you Theo about Galaxy Watch, I have it and absolutely love it function wise, and even looks wise, this Tic Toc watch is damn ugly almost looks toy like with the 2 buttons on the side. They stick out to much for my liking takes the attention of the watch face where as Samsung Watch face, buttons, and that sick as bezel look sleek and awesome. I got mine on full display, brightness and all, to enjoy the features and sensational colors and don't care much about battery life that so many are into. Whack it on charge over night or as I do an hour and a half before bed and I'm good all night and all day, by time I'm ready to charge late in the night still have 17 % battery if I've had a huge calls day probs down to about 5%. And Samsung has ENERGY SAVE MODE as well to give you the long lasting battery life people desire. For me... It's a smart watch enjoy the full on features I say 😉💯🇦🇺👍

@@TheJabberTech thanks. So I stick with Samsung. I pay now 199baht(5,8€) for Spotify family. And I think there is not Google music in Thailand. Gym have wifi, I get full spotify without phone That is what I care most, my time without interruptions. Maybe I will get next Galaxy Watch if others can not get full Spotify. But 4gb memory is not enought anymore. Like that Galaxy Active2 has, And that price...

Which watch can last with me for 20 days or just 1 week!?
@TheJabberTech5 жыл бұрын
I don't understand
@camdee24495 жыл бұрын
Unless you use a smart watch on grey scale no watch will last you 20 days lol, why get a smart watch if you want it to last a month ? Get a normal watch, smart watches are like your mobile phone you need to charge them, In saying all this if I put my galaxy watch on grey scale it lasts for ages, at 30 % battery turned on grey scale I got nearly 4 days so if you turn it on grey scale at 100 % it will last you ages, but why ? all your looking at is a grey watch so what is the point of a smart watch 😉👌

Samsung Watch still wins hands down imho, has ENERGY SAVING MODE as well that keeps you going forever, for myself I just use the Samsung Watch full on, display on 9 or 10 all day every day, I want to enjoy the full on colors on an amazing screen I did not spend all all that money to stare at a Grey screen sorry, how boring lol. And seriously you cannot tell me that this watches display is better than Samsung's 🤣 no way. I personally don't use Google Assist or Bixby to ask what the weather is when almost every watch face in the Galaxy wearable app has a weather icon or it's in the weather app, just press a button geez stop being so lazy lol. And the choice of watch faces OMG like seriously there is a watch face for every occasion. People take smart watches to seriously and expect it to just take over what their phone can do that's near impossible, just enjoy using it lol, peace 😉💯🇦🇺👍

Samsung watch is to limited if your into apps. I got the fossil gen 5 due to having 8gb of user storage. 4gb is not much when you want apps and music. Bixby is total crap and google assitant is the best out there and so useful. The Samsung app store is also crap. Google assist does far more than tell the weather and useful dictating emails and text by voice are just 2 examples of how useful google assist is. Bixby is totally useless.
@camdee24495 жыл бұрын
@@denodan I don't use my watch for Bixby or Music just love it for my daily Stats ie Steps, HR etc and all the cool watch faces that are available to us. For music etc I just use my phone and connect to my buds. But yes i agree could have more GB / Space. But each to their own I guess, I just like that all the devices connect seamlessly and work very well together without having an additional app to run it. 😉👌
