Well, they weren't playing this house dance track live, actually. They pretended to play it live or played a little bit over sounds of synthesizer or playback. Moby probably played small guitar part over it. It's house track that was created purely on computer or synthesizer and it's fast track. Not one live drummer can keep up with such tempo. I prefer studio sound of this track than some drummer trying to imitate drum machine. In 90s Moby was jumping behind synthesizer when he put such dance tracks. It was more fun than this theater of playing with instruments simple but fun house track. But I agree modern poseurs/DJs play pre-recorded sets and it's disgusting. If you can't mix live then why are you even a DJ?

I wish i got paid a pound for everytime I've listened to this excellent live track, The pumping beat and that part between Bass,Drums and Moby on Bongo's was very well orchestrated...There's not many "Electronica artists" that can stand out as a traditional tanlented musician too like Moby does,He is good at his craft and so are the people he's playing with here!
