Consider making a metal air tank, it could be pumped up to more pressure, and with an air reductor it will run much longer. Also it would probably be smaller :) Great idea, i would like to se more of it.

Thanks, i did think about that idea. i just need to find a metal tank and a regulator setup. i already have a high pressure pump, so that is not a problem. maybe a c02 paint ball tank?

If you want the size and weight down, you can use carbon fibre paintball tanks. They are a bit more expensive, and have an expiration date, bug they weigh significantly less than a metal one.

I have a paintball tank, and it weighs a ton. Considering that coke bottles can actually hold a LOT of pressure, I would advise keeping the coke bottle. It's also cheap. But if you do try the metal or carbon fibre one, please tell us your experience!

Considering this is all lego, it's truly amazing how close that engine sounds to a real diesel, especially when it's working hard! I'm also quite impressed how much power that thing puts out, considering it's using the small cylinders! Reminds me not to underestimate lego pneumatics. Great work green gecko!

A Volvo VNX with a i6 LPE engine would be awesome and if you can make a trailer with high air capacity, and make it 8X4, I'm asking a lot but it would be the best and biggest lpe powered American Truck.

Ohhh I have another idea, a Dodge Ram 3500HD dually with a i6 engine and a 6 speed Allison transmission (hehe not an "allison transmission" but a transmission in your MOC's will be great) or a GMC Sierra 2500HD (All Terrain X package) with a v8 diesel engine and a 6 speed transmission would be great tho or a Ford f350/f450 I wish you like my ideas

I thinks it's awesome, you haven't skipped a single detail, the way the engine lugs down going up the hill really shows the realism, I really like your suspension system and the way you throttle the engine, the only thing I can think of would be to make a high torque versions with the large cylinders but the way it is it has a realistic amount of power if it were a real truck just scaled down

thanks for your comment, i could build a large cylinder i6 however it would be to big for this truck. i plan to make some more large cylinder engines for future models. i do plan to make a 18 wheeler of some sort, i will probably make a larger i6 for that or another engine.

thanks, when i first started it up i was amazed how it sounds. the i6 lpe under load sounds very scale for this truck, in real life it also comes with a 6 cylinder

As a hearted comment suggests, a metal tank is a good idea. I was thinking about a small CO2 airsoft cannister threaded with a small regulator assembly for running scale model pickups or supercars. Less capacity, but it would fit and run.
