Pon De Ring donuts are absolutely delicious! The first time I had them, they were from a food truck where I had to spend an hour in line, but they were so tasty when they were fresh out of the fryer. Too bad I'm so terrible with frying. Then I could make these.

I made these for my family this weekend and they really loved them. Thank you Moe and Sutan for this recipe. The video brought back memories of cooking and baking with my niece when she was around 4 and 5 years old. She's a teen now and I miss those times but cherish the memories. It brings a smile to my face when I catch her cooking or baking something and using some of the things I showed her when she was little. You, your husband. and Sutan will never forget those moments.

@@000euMJ They actually turned out pretty good. I did undercook the first batch though, very gooey inside. Also, I didn't add the tofu as some in my family don't like it. I was wondering if these could be baked like Monkey Bread. I think I'm going to try and see if they come out good if baked like that.

I finally made these, substituting allulose for sugar and eggs for the tofu. They're slightly less sweet than I expected in a good way. My icing I made was with cacao, 2% milk, and banana extract, and powdered sugar. These are so yummy (if I come up with an allulose icing, I will share). I will continue tweaking my recipe, but I am very happy with these. Thank you so much!

Hi! Thank you for this recipe! ☺️ It is quite similar to a Filipino dessert called "Carioca." We use glutinous rice powder to get that chewy texture. We often stuff it too with cheese and it's the best snack ever!

Yes Christine, I agree that: "Carioca" tastes so nice; but, as I, like so very many who are lactose intolerant, very sadly know, any cheese, made from cows; &, any milk product containing lactose, simply causes, another highly allergic reaction, as lactose, a, simple milk sugar, is, yet, another cooking agent; &, hugely common ingredient, that is also, a, common cause of unacceptably huge irritations to many folk's digestive/intestinal systems.
