Ahir Shah did offer some quite good gags, but to be honest, it was a fair win by Maisie, Rhys, & Robin, seeing that their gags had a lot more going for them. BTW, Rhys has become quite good at being safe & secure in his comedy. Robin was a welcome breath of fresh air, surprised me with some of his clever wit. Last, but not least: Dara's news about the asteroid was very good too, lending itself to hilarity about him & Brian Cox. Thank you all! 😂😄🤓

They talked about it in significantly more depth on HIGNFY (potentially even longer on HIGABMNFY, which is the only version I watch so am not sure whether some of the Bashir section was cut from the slim-line version of the show). Wonder if there’s communication between the runners of both shows to ensure they don’t exclusively deal with the same stuff in similar depth, or whether the guys at Mock the Week didn’t see as much comedy in it, hence its relatively short mention

Imagine a race between Boris Johnson with that electric bus he was "driving", when he declared the planning of the new bus lanes, and Dara on the old MegaBus (the one he drives daily on his regular route between T2 and T3 in Heathrow). I've got my money on Dara of course. He's been a bus driver for almost 20 years now. He started his route in Heathrow on the first day of operation on August 23rd. Some say he's an unknown founder of MegaBus and that after 20 years of secretly owning a considerable share of the company, Dara O'briain is actually one of the richest men in Europe. Worth over 7 billion euros according to sources in Forbes, that have just started exposing this story. Why he would still want to drive the bus is beyond me. He could probably buy the BBC, get rid of those executives who canceled Mock The Week and get the show back on daily.
