We're back with another ranking video! As always with these types of video, this is solely my opinion, and if you don't agree that's fine! Here is my ordering of competitive solos, duets, and trios from small competitions, auditions, regionals, nationals, internationals, and Dancemania, on The Next Step!

Finally I'm not the only person who preferred jiley's nationals dance over their internationals dance. James didn't do much dancing mostly lifts cause the dance was more of riley's style. I still love both dances

For me, I think the most iconic solo is Showstoppa (Michelle), the most iconic duet is James and Riley's Nationals/Internationals routines as the most iconic trio is Elevator (Amanda, Amy, Michelle)

ELDON’S INTERNATIONAL SOLO WAS GORGEOUS! I hate his character (Series 4 to present), he’s so creepy! Why mention dating Emily and Michelle every time that you see them when you’re still with Thalia?! Weird or what?😂😂👏🏻

I think Summers convention solo in season six would have looked better if she had been wearing a costume that actually matched the title Fire with Fire. Edit-Omg! I've never had so many likes and replies, thank you so much

FINALLY someone is saying everything I thought about the Nochelle dance! For two amazing dancers, the dance was completely underwhelming. I didn’t see why everyone was saying Richelle broke through her emotional barrier, her facial expressions were average, and Richelle is always professional! No professional would ever wipe away their tears while on the stage! Nochelle stans are often willing to overlook the realism of the situations. Same with Jiley. Appreciate that you’re opinion is completely unbiased.

Nochelle's fans are annoying and not to mention, who think that in the dance, the two were in love, since Noah was never in love with Richelle, and what's more, Richelle still hadn't gotten over her breakup with Elliot.

i thought flying was so much better than whirlwind, whirlwind looked sort of messy, and imo it was too prop heavy (i always hate when dances use more than like three props, it’s excessive) but flying flowed so well and the connection was there without it being forced

as a Richelle stan- I completely agree with pretty much all of your rankings for her dance lol, theres obviously stuff I don't agree with (that's how opinions work 🤗) but tbh I was disappointed with her dancemania dance and I completely agree that Briar > Richelle (which sounds weird because they're the same person but wtv lol)

I agree with you with Richelle's dance mania solo. I even would have ranked it lower. To be honest I watched the extend version many times and I still did not understand how it was that amazing. Richelle is amazing I love her dancing and all but this solo was not amazing was not that impressive. It was just tricks all over the place. No hate just my opinion

I was absolutely in *love* with Richelle's Dancemania audition (audition, not her "Do Ya Better" performance) because apart from the amazing choreo and versatility, one of the defining points of the dance for me was that *even though she made it look effortless, you could tell she was FIGHTING for it.* 😍 The girl really said, "Welp, if I'm gonna crash Summer's audition to start my professional career, I might as well look AMAZING doing it" 🤣

Personally I don't like Michelle's solo from season 2 that much. I felt like it was like lily from season 6 and I know this is gunna make a lot of people mad but that is just my opinion! But I can definitely see where you are coming from and it was very memorable! 🐦

In my opinion I didn’t really like sloanes solo in season 4. Maybe it’s because I’m not into hip- hop? I just thought Riley would of chosen a stronger dancer like Noah or something? (No hate I love your channel!)

I think that Alesha put the season 6 Noah and Richelle in the right place because their was nothing much to it apart from the the storyline and that Noah was leaving and it was quite emotional

When talking about james an Riley's international duet i think it was definitely a competitive dance (as well as a performance). Even if the dance didn't show of their best strength individually, from a competitive standpoint, those lifts they did were really advanced by themselves. That duet is probably the most advanced one just in that (specific) aspect from the show. I also think that yes, james had to adjust to rileys style but I like when james does contemporary which he did more of in season 1 and to me it would've taken away from cleanliness if james did more hip hop. But I do respect that you prefer other dances above it.

Honestly totally agree with you on Noah's and Richelle's ballet routine, I think Richelle could've shown more emotion, I was expecting something more raw and emotional from her side. ( Just my opinion)

I think Showstoppa should’ve been lower, as much as I did love it and it was fierce I don’t think Michelle’s technique was up to par eg. her releve in her turns is super low, some transitions didn’t flow as well.

I think jileys tiebreaker duet in internationals was so beautiful, it really made me cry but I don’t think their actual duet from the real competition was as good, they should have done the tiebreaker one for the real thing, I loved their nationals one it gives me goosebumps

I LOVE IT! The only thing i would disagree is that, i mean i don't want to take anything away from Michelle her solo was and would always be iconic but objectively speaking i would have put it maybe in the top six but not in second place IN MY OPINION. I think if you take all the flashy stuff of the dance it's not on the same level as a lot of other dances. BUT i understand where you're coming because showstopper will forever be one of the most iconic dances and Michelle is a VERY strong dancer i will just like to see something more demanding in that solo. And i almost watching Eldon performe that solo.

The only thing I think I would've changed was Ozzys ressurection solo and Richelles solo. I like Ozzys solo more than Richelle because as you said she was just walking around and hardly did ant dancing. I also think that Ozzy had more dancing but then the woah he did kinda just shedded of a few points for me because I don't think that putting the woah im is very musical theatre. But I agree with the rest of it😂
