I really need to get a stock one so I can compare. The lowest it hit was 85. The upper was 105. I used a variety of crap darts from my bin so I could simulate what scavenging conditions would be like. I really do think a Brass Breach is going to be needed to get consistent performance. I may also removed the AR. If I do I will also take out the trigger lock so I can deprime the blaster.

Well, it's a fairly short spring, compared to some of the black magic people have done with a K26 (Caliburn, Rainbowpump) and has only 3" of effective barrel.

Without reading other comments, my 2¢ are as follows: that's a low fps for a sentinel. I remember stock performance being in the 90 fps range. I would recommend checking out the Home Depot door spring. I shoved one in my sentinel and without any other mods I'm pulling a 110 avg fps. (But my memory is bad and I haven't nerfed in a year or so). Keep up the good work! I enjoy your you tube presence!

How do you find the metal handle? Some consider it uncomfortable, and one of the first Evan B Nerf vids I watched showed him dipping it into liquid plastic, adding only a little bit of mass but a more ergonomic texture. Every time I look at the Sentinel I think it has potential to be made more Winchester-esque. An in-line style loading tube, perhaps? There is more room below the breech than above, but if someone sorted out a spring assisted shotgun-style tube loader, it could be done... I remember seeing you discussing ideas with the gentleman who made the pump action, ejecting shell shotgun over on Nerf Modders Welcome (I believe). Your discussion smelled of two evil geniuses, and I think he mentioned he had ideas for the Sentinel. I hope to see either you or him perfect something. Would a non mag fed Sentinel be very practical? Nope, not at all... but the cool factor would be pretty damn high IMO.

you should do a complete mod of a dual-strike where you make the top three barrels shoot at the same time by removing the AR not sure how good it would shoot, just a suggestion because I was planning on trying this. :):)

Edit: It looks like you have cut yours down a little bit more than mine, it looks like if I were to cut 3 quarters of an inch more off it would fit inside. 85-105 is a really low FPS. AR removal is very helpful on buzzbee blasters, I recommend also gluing in the the "jesus piece" on the lever that is a spacer on the screw port. I don't think adding teflon on the seal helps because it doesn't do anything [1]. The mag release can be used as a lever format, push it forward. There are many different 3D printed parts in existence for the sentinel with aluminum parts on the way. I have taken my VGS [3] in 20F conditions with constant rapid fire, granted in pump action format. My FPS is about 100-120 FPS with an AR removed depending on the dart type. I use USCs so the FPS is lower but more consistency. All I have is is another spring with the stock one. I highly recommend NOT using a K26, especially as you are not gaining any performance currently. It MIGHT be because of the long faux barrel but I think the Air restrictor is definitely not doing you a favor. To note, I also do not think Brassing is the most effective way to use a sentinel, you can fully optimize one but at that point it's illegal from most superstock wars (cap being 120 FPS) You can get to 120 FPS pretty easily with a second spring added and AR removed.

A rough cut with removed AR's so it fires all 8 dart at one shot ( 4 half pull and 4 more at full pull og the trigger) And a spring upgrade on top of it all. Not practical at all but i think it could be a fun project

Is this a better alternative to the slingfire? I prefer lever action to most others (big fan of Western firearms) but the slingfire seems to be a bit rare and very temperamental and the scravenger is just ......no.

x-shot darts are lighter than most other darts, hence the increased initial velocity. This probably gives you *worse* performance because the lighter darts wont fly as well.

I have a question... would that length of k26 that you are using (i counted 13 coils) be less powerful than a k26 installed with 19 coils but half compressed? And is it normal to have a very heavy trigger pull after installing a k26 spring? I have no problems priming my sentinel but getting it to fire is a real pain. the trigger seems stuck on several occasions...im thinking the k26 might be exerting so much pressure on the catch that the trigger is unable to release it. Whats your opinion?

I do not know enough about spring coefficients to answer that. And yes, I have seen catch mechanisms get stuck under the force of k26.

Please don't put Teflon tape under the o-ring! It doesnt increase performance, and will wear the o-ring out faster. Just grease and let go. Also, brass/pvc/aluminum breeches are the only way to make use of all this power

Not exclusively, but there is a reason so much velocity is considered desirable. Precision is not the only thing that gets hits, other factors like velocity retention, time to target, and effective range are all major factors to getting hits in Nerf.
