It’s really nice when you can bond with a parent over something you actually enjoy. Especially, when you only have 1 parent. She hated all my music growing up, now I’m almost 30 and can share music and vibe with my mom on a whole new level. Yes, I was happy to show her. I was beyond thrilled, and I will cherish these memories with her.

This is new music, however, the way I feel about it (and Mod Suns discography as a whole, tbh) is exactly this: This song will always be one of my life anthems.... Year after year through different stages of my life, I find myself in the same patterns of toxic abuse. Overall, it is such a tragic way to live.... I'm not obsessed with the chaos to the point that I actively seek it out and prefer it, either.... That being said, I'm hoping to fall in love one day to find that I have finally exited the cycle while starting and ending relationships, whether they were one of my year long ones or one of the ones that went on for longer than the better half of a decade, plus more than just some change to match....
