I'm personally not really interested in it but I will say some of the community skins are amazing and hilarious 😂

i thinks mods should be okay like ui and stuff like that in based game, but for mods that add items or new objectives should be good okay as like only customs or like add a new tap for smite 2 too call it arcade or something just for mods that's not just ui changes and cosmetics.

You are spot on man, make it an arcade mode not base game changes and IF something small is modded in arcade and is loved they can add it maybe officially but yeah UI and such is cool

Hey! I'm the one who asked the question on Titan Talk. I literally thought this would be a hard "No", but they're open to it. I think it is a good thing. But I also know that it can be a PAIN for developers. But if they're honestly serious and mods become a part of SMITE 2... well, it would be a big thing to separate SMITE 1 and SMITE 2. Though I would definitely keep Mods away from Conquest. Though as I suggested it, I'm a casual Arena player, so I didn't realize how rare it is among competitive online games. I was thinking of World of Warcraft when they had mods back during the Wrath of the Lich King days. Either way, I'm glad I asked the question. You miss all of the shots you never take, right?

I think if their going to allow mods it should just be ui design changes similar to what dead by daylight does, your own custom art for god cards for example. The only gameplay mod I'd argue could be fine to let by is allowing people one similar to league where you get a timer on your map showing when a camp is back up or such. Wouldn't really change anything or give too much of a benefit to the point it's a game changer imo.

Without watching yet, mods are sketchy and open the door for chests and abuse.
