i lowkey wish i had a mom liek that. my mom wanted me to use this tacky ugly bright coral secondhand dress from her coworker (i don’t have a problem with secondhand clothes but the corset had silver and gold gems that looked like they came from the dollar store) and i was just so happy she was even going to let me have one but i showed my grandma my dress and she said it was so ugly. she’s taking me to this little boutique that sells quince dresses but she said i have a $700 budget so i think ima use my $300 savings from my past birthdays to get it to $1000. im js kinda sad tho bc my mom didn’t want me to have a quince in the first place, now that she knows someone else is buying my dress she loves it and she took over my theme but wtv bc a quince is a quince and a win is a win 💪
