The last one with the train is probably my favourite. I always thought the stations were wasted since after you unlock them, the platform gets blocked off, and only a small shack gets set up at the entrance. At least add a merchant there, Techland!

​@@Chris-bh3cm In a singleplayer experience there's nothing wrong with using mods, I'm tired of hearing that nonsense, you don't bother anyone else you are playing the game the way you want. And there's more things to it that just cheats, I'm playing with the I Am Legion Reborn mod which improves the AI, the spawn system, and more stuff and in general makes the world of DL2 feel more alive and the game more difficult (base game too easy for my taste). The mods exist a lot of times to fix the fuck ups that the own developers do sometimes. So yeah, is being lazy. I suppose you must play on consoles to be so against mods, the mods I always use on my games are destined to improve the game/ add new mechanics and if necessary make it harder. You talk about mods making a game boring (more nonsense), the fact is the most fun I'm getting of DL2 is thanks to the mod that I talked about before.

Gosh, so many of these mods would add so much depth to the game. A lot of them are things I would have expected the game to have already because they look good(And finished). The zombie grabs while you're climbing would make for some awesome intense moments, and it's a shame they took out the executions for melee. They could have done so many of them and would make the combat feel more brutal. I really like the snow mod though, it would have been awesome to see that in-game as you progress through the story.

Most of the players that want a lot of these changes are in Techland's DL2 Discord Server and some of the devs are pretty active in there. So I'm sure they get tsunamis of requests everyday. I'm in the server in check once in a while so I have an idea.

I love it, I was so excited for DL2 and was disapointed by many features so I finished the story most of the side quests but unsatisfied stopped playing it due to so many bugs and missing stuff and I saw in tralers and the DL1, so these mods might make me play it again. I was always absolutely floored by how in-depth one could modify their save file with the Dead Island Save Editor--allowing players to add/remove/tweak anything in their inventory (even collectibles), learn/un-learn any and all recipes, explore and un-explore any bit of the map, tweaking exactly how much money/XP they have, even setting which checkpoint of which mission in whichever chapter their file will load up! Anyway, I've always wanted something similar for Dying Light. I've beaten that game to 100% probably a dozen times spread out across every platform it's available on, so I think I've earned the right to mess around with my saves like that 😹 It's still a variant of the Chrome Engine, right? So I hope something like that is possible... But I still plan on achieving every ending that I can legitimately in DL2. So on top of my wish list for DL/DL2 is probably a save editor like that... Or an entry in the pause menu that allows us to enable any of the events whenever we want :3 I missed a few from DL1 because Techland activated them at bad times for me, so... Since they won't just keep them in the game, I pray that modders will fix that little issue ❤️❤️

Thank u for this Ali, the cool thing about the day night mod is that it's highly configurable and u can get all the features at once or just install individually the ones which best fit it gameplay objectives. I spent one entire evening downloading some mods to enhance dl2 experience and the result was: -human enemies now drop their weapons like in dl1 -more enemies inside houses and buildings during the day, mostly sleeping Virals (makes it more difficult to loot, promoting stealth… and the pressure of knowing if u make too much noise they will come after you fast forcing u to leave or evade to avoid being overcrowded), and more of them in the streets during night and day -virals don't get burnt by sunlight, they can chase u everywhere instead, cool thing is that if u get chased by a lot of them and there are humans nearby they will engage in combat -all zombies detect u faster day and night -night difficulty increased, howlers detect u faster and chase level increases faster, volatiles start chasing at level 2 -parkour mod e3 2019 style, reintroduces jumping hand animations, long jump, and it feels less floaty -medkit recipe when u reach maximum bandage level of upgrade My personal changes where that I deleted the street Virals during daytime due to them interfering with possible stealth approaches, they can still come from buildings and attack me. Also I left goons with normal behavior, they don't run.

i can sort of understand why some of these things were cut to be honest, like the night chases were made easier to encourage you to do night running instead of just skipping night everyday (which is something i used to do in dying light 1 lol) and im pretty sure they added back roaming volatiles with new game +. The one thing i do think needed to be included is more human activity, like the van chase scene from the trailer was awesome and i wish they would have added more shit like that, I.E ambushing a renegade convoy or something.

I guess I'm the odd one out here but a lot of these things I can definitely live without, especially extra ways to get grabbed The cut weapon is cool, as are the melee takedown moves and some of the extra parkour moves Ui changes are fine I guess just a preference thing mostly The zombie spawn rates probably wouldn't be able to be run on the older gen consoles and depending on the map area maybe not the new gen ones either so it's understandable to an extent More volatiles and such at night is neat especially with the howlers following you around to make it harder to escape but from a certain perspective it could be problematic for people new to the game if implemented and would have to be more of a NG+ feature if it proves to be too overwhelming

I'm honestly amazed and thankful for these modders. Features like these make the game 10x better. It even feels like Dying Light 1 too again because of the "More Zombies" mod I remember in DL1 there were tons of zombies roaming even volatiles specially on the bridge.

can you merge mods for example data2, data3, data4, data5 because the game can only detect 7 mods after you put your 8th mod the game just ignored it and it will not work, i hope you can make tutorial if you know how to merge them 🙏🙏

The most vital mods for DL2 in my opinion are for the graphics because idk what creators thought forcing screen effects that actually make graphics uglier, not mentioning the tone mapping colors etc. Also mod for dynamic weather is what made me more immersed in to the game cause without it the weather was always the same and it never rained but now with all these mods when it rains i just walk around and praise the super realistic graphics ( rtx card is needed for that anyway). Other than that i also think that this game shares a lot traits with Cyberpunk 2077, it also is nvidia sponsored title with game changing technologies but overall is empty husk of what it really should be, i had high hopes for this game seeing all this terrifying and interesting trailers for it but what i love about this game is completely different because it is nowhere close to what i expected it to be. Like this trailer where two girls managed to escape from zombies to be victim to the nightrunner who had different plans, it was really brutal and scary and also zombies appeared much stronger especially the one that was chasing the guy around.

Now the modders just need to remove like half the quests that have nothing to do with the main plot or about the city in particular. Mainly the ones that make me wanna call Dying Light 2 "Stay Married" instead of "Stay Human" and the ones that are actually challenges so I don't keep getting baited with the quest markers.

These mods went towards console updates there’s virals that are much more vigilant and more aggro zombies at night dark zones and buildings comes with a volatile guarding sleeping virals/infected. Even more upgrades on series X.

I am a BIG DL1 fan, I love the game and still do. When I started playing DL2, I was very disappointed... So much things have changed. The way you fight the zombies, I miss that. I wish they would bring back the head stomp and a few other skills I really liked, but mostly the hook... I liked it a lot more in DL1.

You can find the link in the description and to install the mod. Firstly backup your save files. then download the rar file. Then extract the rar file using Winrar or 7zip Now copy the data.pak & paste it inside the source folder ( Dying Light 2\ph\source) and you are done.

i aint completed the game yet so i dont know what happens in NG+ but i hope in future updates for DL2 they will let u have both factions at max rank (so you can have both effects) and also let u run with the renegades as a new faction to get a completely new story and have specific options to use that "fury" mode for being renegade aligned

I would also like techland to add the gauntlets "wesley snipes" blade uses filled with EDTA anticoagulants to have some fun with the zombies turning them into bombies! Each time the zombies explode they summon more virals

My advice is to NEVER start playing ANY game with any sort of mods right out of the gates. Get a feel for the game as it was intended and then once you've beat it at least once legitimately, then incorporate mods from there. You'll get so much more playability out of a game this route. Btw, I recommend trying out "I am Legion" overhaul mod. It basically an entirely new harder difficulty level for this game. Do you enjoy goons that run as FAST as VIRALS? Its a potion that you need to consume to activate the zombie mod. if you check the mod description on the website then it will tell you how to use it and redeem it.
