You have to remember that the devs also add parts of future content to updates. They have been cookin for about 6 months straight. Good bad or indifferent I’ll stand by techland because they are continuously working to improve the game

The craziest new addition is the x13 progression bug. It takes place during the epilogue so you can't just go do other quests and hope techland fixes it. Immediately after the car wreck when the driver takes an arrow to the chest ,it prompts you to kill the renegades. One of the renegades helpfully tells his friends to not permit you to enter the cloud so that you can't find the x13 entrance . After all renegades are dead , that's it , you're done. Go play dead island 2. Don't bother trying to find the entrance because there's no mission icon and the game will kill you for leaving mission area. I've spent a lot of money and time on this game and would love to continue supporting it. Maybe techland will fix this game breaking bug but they've known about it since the 19th per the pilgrim outpost support faq and still no fix. Guess I'll just go play dead island 2 which just recently published a new dlc.

I just did the mission earlier today and had no problems.. just try reloading your game, I’ve had missions not progress before but after a quick reload it worked again. Hope you figure it out

Bro the entrance is in the only bombed building by the vnc tower. At the last floor you'll see a gre tunnel and go into an infected state

I've reloaded my game, I've rolled back the save, I've tried joining other peoples games and sleeping after completing a mission, I've tried changing my difficulty, I've tried disconnecting from the Internet and reconnecting. I've tried a lot of things that people have suggested but nothing has worked. I know where the entrance is but as soon as I cross that little moat outside the Vnc tower I get a "leaving mission area" countdown. There is a reddit thread full of people who have encountered the same issue. I'm not sure why it's working for some, but it may have something to do with the choices they've made throughout their playthrough. On the pilgrims outpost there is a statement about the bug saying the developers are aware and "working on a solution". I'm fairly confident that they will fix it because techland actually cares about their community of players, but I'm not overly optimistic that they will fix it anytime soon because they have historically dragged their feet fixing issues like this. So unfortunately I am preparing to move on to other games or just a break from gaming all together. It just sucks because dying light 2 is the only game I'm not bored of right now.

I love the nightmare update, I used to just replay the game doing “challenge runs” like punches and kicks only, inferno accessory only, no grapple and all that. So I actually have a reason to come back and have an actually difficult time playing cause hard just wasn’t hard

Update was great but this was perfect opportunity to fix flashlight (Cast shadow and add flashlight inertia with better colors), add dynamic skybox and make UI better like making stamina bar white and making crosshair smaller and look like a dot but they didn't and add nightwalkers and option to see your biomarker but some of the things i mentioned will come in next update most likely like nightwalker and see biomarker but I really hope Techland will fix running animation because it's clippy right now so i hope it goes back to 1.00 version one

The Best Part of the Update is that You can Earn Over The Gold Old 9000 XP by doing GRE Aberrations in this Nightmare difficulty to level your character even fast.

No pause on inventory doesn't make sense in DL2. It made sense in DL1 because the inventory was a transparent overlay, but the menu in DL2 takes up the whole screen real estate entirely....😅

As soon as a new update comes out, something else gets screwed in this game. For example, the infected blade blueprint vanished. It’s harder to dodge a banshee’s attack than before. Also, enemies literally keep you from dodging if they gather around you. And the Carnage Crossbow and Pipe Bow no longer glitch to your inventory. Worse, the gear items from the ronin and authority packs on my last save file were missing from my inventory no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled. And the night vision potions don’t work. I started a brand new game hoping that all these problems would vanish and they didn’t. Also, the bending knife blueprint can’t be upgraded anymore. Only the infected blade blueprint and the ronin and authority gear items came back.

Get the nimble ninja set for a shit ton of less stamina drain, I think its -11% stamina drain in parkour, and +7% stamina regen plus some damage boost with parkour attacks
