It is made for travel and ocasional use.
If you measure/trim paraglider lines every day, I recomand Model 1. It includes the laser carier compunent.

Leica Disto D2 is rather expensive - why not Bosch PLR 40 C or Bosch PLR 30 C You can have those at a fraction of the price (60-80€) of the Leica
