I've got to hand it to you, even though I never have and hardly will play the CoD-series of games, I thoroughly enjoy your commentaries on almost whatever shooter you delve into. It's probably the overall attitude of "what feels fun" plus the level of analysis, such as this UAV-countering topic, or the optimal use of a given piece of hardware or what not. Oh, and your ever-so charming voice, of course. In awaiting your BF3 videos, I'm enjoying your thoughts on this breakneck twitch-shooter. ^^

I had to play the game 2 days to realise assasin pro is the best perk in the game and eventually everyone (except for snipers) will gravitate towards it. Not only does it protect you from the infinite uavs and advanced uavs, it protects you from counter uavs and emps as well. If thats not enough, it also removes the red name and crosshair from above your head, so it pretty much nullifies the marksman perk as well. So yea assasin pro is a necessity to have steady games.

Its not just the AMOUNT of UAV's in this game, its the MAPS that can be the huge problem. UAV's on some maps just blend into the sky making them impossible to find, and also the insane amount of background buildings make it hard to find them

Hardline is just MORE valuable if you're running the low assault streaks. On my Scar-L class, I always run UAV, CP, and Pred or CP, Pred, Aittack Chopper. The care package is just GROSSLY overpowered in this game if you can regularly call in 5+ each match (which I do). Support is good if your goal is to hold ONE point or to achieve ONE thing (like in HQ games where the JUG can mean winning or losing). But for higher streak setups Assassin will ALWAYS win out. So, as usual, it just depends...

So effing true. Assassin is an amazing perk. I know you get it early but I had to use a prestige token to unlock it. I have it on 7 out of 9 classes. I always feel so exposed and unsafe without it.

I love you Boo. Here's my take: I don't personally like assassin. I would have much prefered IW to take it out. Keeps the game fast paced and action packed. I just can't stand the people who use Blind Eye and Assassin together. They always seem to be the ones who sit in a corner and ruin my games. Assassin isn't a "bad perk" but its something I think the game would be better w/o. Sorry if this got a little of topic but I needed to get this out there.

My favorite class in MW3 is Silenced ACR with MP9 akimbo or silencer, plus Seight of Hand, Assassin, and either Stalker or Marksman, then the Assault or Specialist strike packages (depending on what 3rd tier perk i choose).

@NitromeSupporter There were UAVs, but most people didn't concern themselves with them. They would continue to look for players to gun down regardless of the fact that they are being watched. Stopping Power did have a hand on this though, because anyone who used UAV-Jammer in COD4 was considered to be cunning, because they have to sacrifice power for stealth.

@ndirish15 I use them both together ;) I too hate corner campers. Have a stealth perk, you should be flanking and taking objectives. Assassin is a lovely perk. Its a toss up between that and quick draw. No body likes a corner camper. Assassin allows flanking and therefor is lovely.
