Model A John Deere First Run After Rebuild

Like you my dad rebuilt his dad's John Deere A. His had a cable operated snow blade up front.

I'm thinking it was the Model A that was knick named "Johnny Poppers" or "Popping Johnnys" because of their loud staccato exhaust. My grandpa Oscar always called them "Popping Johnnys".
