Model kits for sale in Pittsburgh today

I went to Pittsburgh PA today for a small swap meet and model car contest. There were some kits I hadn't seen in a long time there. Please let me know if you would have bought anything at the show in the comments below.

Cool video. I had to laugh,....I attended a swap meet in Hermitage, Pa yesterday, and I see a lot of the same vendors made the trip. I recognize a lot of those kits.

I went to an IPMS show in Sacramento on Saturday. I think I picked up 8-10 kits. Towards the end of the show, a lady was asking $5 a kit. (I don't want to take anything home.) I bought four from her. I had a BLAST!

Hi Kevin, do you have any model shows like this in Canada? Used kits most times are priced to sell. Until they become rare then price is subjective on how bad you want it.

Wow that mpc 72 road runner is very rare looked like the johan 69 road runner was pricy cool stuff though yeah normally I always have my eye out for dodge and Plymouth models I collect them and have heart for old step side trucks thanks for sharing your tour I enjoy looking at those

Hi James ,That big mountain of Italeri Boxes in the beginning caught my attention. The most of those kits are very hard to find ovewrhere in europe. From what i have heared is that Italeri is gonna may re-issuing those kits. But what a nice amount of kits on that swap meet. Great video,very entertaining to see how it goes in the USA

$85 for a '64 Oldsmobile convertible? !!!!! I just saw that kit at a flea market last month for $16. And I think Hobby Lobby just did a clearance on those for $5! Would I have bought anything? Can't really say I've been looking for one, but I saw a woody wagon on a couple of tables for a price I liked. Probably would have bought one of those. Wish I'd known about this show. I have some Schwinn bicycle parts I'm chasing for a restoration, and I think I've found someone in Pennsylvania who has what I need. Could've been an excuse to stop in at the model show and checked out the parts I need on the same trip.

Yeah vendor prices are nuts for kits. Some I saw in the video, my local Ollie's has/had for $11.99 and they were asking $20-$25..

Ray it was an original 1964 Olds Convertible. Given that the original kit was chopped up into that goofy AWB/AFX drag thing many moons ago that was a piece of unobtainium collector's gold... until Round2 went off and destroyed the value of it. Still people will pay a premium to add an original issue kit if they're curating a vintage collection with no intention of building it.

Congrats on the S660. It’s a great little build. I could have spent maybe $300 there. Some interesting stuff. Had no idea Tamiya did a dune buggy kit. Saw a ford escort and a pinto wagon I would love to build.

I found your channel a day or so ago and I like your style so I subscribed. Really liked the decal tutorial. I am currently building armor, but have done a few airplanes and gundam. I want to try a car kit and have been going through some of your videos, but don’t see one on a “best first kit to try”. Do you have a recommendation ? I really like Tamiya armor and aircraft, so I’ve been looking at those.

Find an inexpensive Tamiya car kit that appeals to you. The ones on Amazon like the 90’s Supra, GTR and Mazda RX7 are great kits, fit well and instructions are clear. Thanks for watching the channel and I hope that you enjoy the content.
