Model Perfect: Ode to a Rare Hardy Fly Reel

This rare and desirable 2 7/8" Hardy fly reel called The Perfect, is literally perfect in every respect. It is post-war model that has been its original box for nearly 70 years and is without flaw or defect. Not even dust has tarnished its finish.
It was given to me 25 years ago by a fly fisherman I admired greatly. He drove to the fly shop I managed and told me he had six weeks to live. He said he had cancer and he knew I would appreciate this reel more than any of his children would. Before I could get sentimental on him or barely thank him properly, he got in his car and drove away. Unfortunately I never saw him again.
My goal for this project was to present the fly fishing "model" as an object of desire through the elements of lighting, music, and a combination of fleeting glances. Shot in standard definition. Isn't it lovely?
