I really need to re-measure my space to verify I have room to install some hardwood for backdrops. Congrats on passing 1350 subs!!!

You're doing an awesome job on the benchwork, under layout cabinets, lighting valance, and backdrop. It just looks great. Very professional, clean and wow! Wonderful job. If you carry this craftsmanship into the rest of the build then you are going to have a amazing layout. Good update video. Stay well. -Wil 👍

Hey Wil! Thanks for the kind words about the layout! I'm trying to focus on "quality" with this build and video series! Thanks for watching and take care! Andy

I can't say it any better than that. "Professional" is exactly what I was thinking. Keep doing what you're doing, Andy, & your layout will be spectacular!

First An apology. I got so engrossed in your video I forgot to hit like and subscribe. Yes really, no bs. What you're building is almost spot on to what it is that I want to build, But I still had some " Head scratchers" But during your video I had a few "AH HA!" Moments so i'm glad I stumbled across your video. I wasn't even looking for train videos at the time, but the Train gods must have pointed me in your direction. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos! Liked and subscribed and bell rung, LOL

Hey Joe! I am delaying the operations side a bit to get the room exactly the way I want it! But it will start happening quick here over the next few months! Track Time!!!

Hey Andy looks awesome , that's going to be so nice having all that storage underneath the layout . Now the fun part starts , I'm looking forward to that .

Thanks Jerry!! I'm going to steal some ideas from William Sampson (Soo The Milwaukee Road) to display some railroad artifacts and cool models I've built over the years. Now comes the fun parts!!! Andy

Great episode as always, I attempted a “benchwork” instructional (kzbin.info/www/bejne/f52rfKuEmpZ1Z7s) but didn’t get into the weeds like you did. This episode was very well paced, a little added humor along the way. Down goes the broom, bits on the ground and the drill doesn’t have the energy to keep going. You’re going to have a fun RR to run. I know I’ll be looking forward to the progress. Keep up the great work!

Thanks William! I've really been trying to make "better quality videos." I have going to school on KZbin and trying to figure out how I can make "Edutainment" like you do on your channel. Thanks for checking out the video and helping me out along the way!!!

Hey Garrick I used 5/8", 18 GA finishing brads (nails).
