Model railway technology tutorial: power supply, ring mains, systems and track segmentation

This video is about the topic of electrical segmentation of a digital model railway system.
We would like to introduce you to how we designed our system with ring lines for 3 booster sections and why individual additional track areas can be switched off.
It also deals with the advantages and disadvantages of a centralized or decentralized structure, the cable cross-sections used for the track feeds and how the whole thing can be controlled from a control program (here WinDigipet).

Hallo das Video hat mir gut gefallen, es wurde gut erklärt. Bei meiner Anlage habe ich 3 4A Booster, und 3 2A Booster von Littfinski. Die 4A Booster sind geplant je ein Schattenbahnhof und die Bahnhofsebene mit Nebenbahn. Die 2A Booster sind für den Wendel und einmal Weichendecoder und Signaldecoder. Jeder Ausgang von den Booster kann ich über Schalter ein- oder ausschalten. Die Booster sind bei mir auch zentral, die Magnetartikeldecoder sind dort eingebaut, wo die Weichen sitzen, die Rückmeldung ist wieder Zentral. Viele Grüße aus Kerpen Walter
