Same here, I was actually wondering why there were no new videos. I know there’s health issues and was hoping that things had not taken a turn on Jonathon. It’s very strange how a kinda of friendship develops with some of these channels even though you’ve never met. You look forward to seeing the content AND the commentary from the person. Almost like waiting for company (someone you like lol) coming. We learn their back stories, how they grew up, what ideals they have etc. Thousands of people feel they know Jonathan even though they’ve never met. Way to much negativity right now for people to nitpick a “how I do it” video. They need to sit back shut up watch and learn or like he said click it off.

There's no question why we're all watching - what you manage to cobble together is pretty amazing to see. Something from nothing, all the time. I personally fix things all the time but building from scratch? Beyond me so far. So don't worry about us, we're hanging in there. Sorry your health is knocking you around - that's a bugger. But hang in there and don't let it get you down - you need your natural optimism to help the recovery along. It's been proven that a good attitude helps the body heal. We'll hang in there with ya, you do the same.

Hey Jonathan: Take care of your health. Like you, before I retired, my living depended upon my being "out there" doing physical labor. That means your health as well as staying "injury free" is primary towards maintaining your lifestyle and taking care of your family. What I'm trying to advise from my "advanced years" is take care of Jonathan first and foremost because you can't take care of, or help, anyone else if you aren't healthy. Hi Jonathon, I guess you can say I'm very old school, I'm 64 years old. I watch you because I love to see you take these old parts of bodies and mechanicals, to literally save them and put them together to go down the road! Personally I think using parts from cars made 50 to 100 years ago gives your project car an old soul, some heart. I love antiques of all kinds, I like to use them and enjoy them. They have a story, experience. Like my 1948 Mix Master, been using it for 40 years, got it for a dollar at an estate sale! Anyway I also love old cars and their history. I think you're amazing, how you fabricate and put these old parts that were left to rust away back into a car and these parts are going down the road again, like they were meant to do. I love watching you do a first start on an engine that was abandoned, they always seem eager to start and run, to come back to life! It kind of gives an old guy like me some hope that I've still got plenty of miles to go!!! I hope you are feeling well soon!!! Thank you for continuing your great videos!!!

In my many years of doing various stuff, I have always found that there will be somebody that does not agree with the way you are doing something, and the Internet now gives them the opportunity to say something about it. Just keep on doing what you are so good at, and ignore the naysayers and armchair builders. I will not hesitate to shout to the world that you are a fabrication wizard. You have the eye and the skill to see what is possible and then make it happen. I am constantly amazed at how well your fabrications turn out. Keep it up for us poor souls that can no longer do this kind of work. We really appreciate it......:D Oh yes, that 90-degree grease fitting......I would have used a 45-degree fitting (easier to get a grease gun nozzle on if you have it up in the air while you are greasing the front end)....lol....

Jonathan when I could walk my dad sat me up on top a tractor and had me taking out head bolts. I still have a lot to learn from your videos. I found out in life that people dont always share your dreams. I know it matters to you what your viewers think, because you want to share yourself and you are passionate towards the welfare of others. However your viewers have spoken loudly to you and highly appreciate and approve of you despite the troublemakers. I have to deal with bronchitis on a constant schedule. Your first impression is one of those that speaks good friend. I'm praying for your healing and recovery. Don't worry about how fast you get us another video, just heal up and enjoy family. First & foremost, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to record the projects that you're working on - they are interesting & informative to a idle gearhead like me. I hope that you are on the road to recovery, & that you are taking the time you need for yourself. These keyboard heroes haven't got the slightest idea what they're talking about, but they are really quick to tell you you're doing it wrong. You're not only building your car, but getting a friend's car build started, & working a tough job as well. I saw a poster years ago. It said," Hot Rodders - America's First Recyclers ". How true. The skills you demonstrate are rapidly becoming lost as computer automation has taken the need for hand skills away from our civilization. Keeping the costs down are a strong incentive to work with what you have. Just keep doing what you do, Jonathan. Meanwhile, take care of yourself. Yeah, I replaced the front springs on my Mazda a few days after a lung biopsy, probably wasn't the best idea!

please don't let folks rude comments bother your creative endeavors. I do enjoy your educational videos. I am an old person that was a teenager that purchased an old Studebaker, Non running, drug and pushed it home to see if I could make a first start in years and make a daily driver, I was proud of the old car that people laughed and scoffed at me for "dragging that piece of junk home for." Once it was road worthy, guess what, they then wanted a ride to somewhere, in my piece of junk. Oh, that old studbuster needed was the fiber timing gear underneath the timing cover. A learner project for myself and the naysayers too. So Jonathan, don't worry about taking your drug home rust adventures home and turning scrap into your true friends long awaited treasure. Sure I do not have the environment to challenge myself. So I vicariously stand with you, Sir. Thanks for sharing the joy with all of us out here behind the computer screen and dream of doing as well as you do. Enjoy and stay safe. Your friend,

Vintage parts that are beyond restoration deserve salvation for creative car builders. I prefer to see beautiful restorations but it isn't always feasible. Keep on with your passion and build subscribers. You da man.

Hi, Jonathan, I'm glad to see you back into your projects, even when they are part of some body else's project (that just give us some extra entertainment). It's great that you are able to find the time to help out a friend when you can. I think that you use the really delapidated parts just to show that you CAN make them work out and get a feeling of special satisfaction over being able to accomplish the "impossible". Jonathan: I am so relieved to see your post today. I've been really concerned. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Like many others I am praying for a speedy & complete recovery. As for your videos. I don't always agree with what you build but it's your ideas and concepts so that means it's right. That's what hot rodding is all about. Hope you get feeling better, going through an illness myself and some days are just harder than others to get things done. I personally love how you are building these cars, some of them you are starting with practically nothing. I sure prefer that to watching someone use their credit card and starting with everything new. I always look forward to your videos and when I get through my medical journey would love to talk to you about buying a project. I am in NC and would love to buy something from you!
