O-gauge 3 rail toy trains use AC, O-Scale 2 rail scale models use DC. You can make easily make DC from AC with a bridge rectifier and a filter capacitor. Thanks for the look at this.. Sure seems like a great value, ... might be picking a few up👍👍

Most use infrared track detection devices (IR with built in time delay relay), or ground activated track sections.

@@realtoytrains Same here actually. My wife had a huge collection of Dept. 56 buildings when I met her. Snow Village...'50s themed. So I'm one of the few with all white instead of greenery. My diecast is '50s except for a few muscle cars. I was a teen in the '60s growing up in the streets of South Boston. Enjoy your day ! 👍
