Very nice layout to say the least. Watching these trains go down the tracks provides a strange sense of security or normalcy in an increasingly chaotic world. Very soothing or comforting to watch. The trains go where they are supposed to go- down & around the track. If only we humans could learn better to do the same!
@BH5307114 жыл бұрын
What a stunning layout! I can’t imagine the amount of designing/planning and construction time that went into creating this - what patience that must have taken! And the video itself? Perfection - thanks for letting the trains provide the soundtrack... What great therapy after a long, stressful day. 👍🏻

This is a far cry from the old layout we had when it was the Myakka Valley Model Railroad Club. The club used to have a permanent layout and these modules would go to shows. It's good to see they have improved the modules over the years.
@artroberttucker42183 жыл бұрын
Do they still do modules? And do they run DDC only
@artroberttucker42183 жыл бұрын
I ran on that layout .Had a Tropicana Train & ran on modules many years ago i miss those days
@jordanr63303 жыл бұрын
@@artroberttucker4218 They still use Digitrax DCC and as far as I know, they don't take the HO layout to shows anymore since they started using the modules for the permanent layout at the new Location off US41.

Beautiful detail!!! I have a H.O. train layout; 'took me 7 years to accomplish. And I am always up-grading it. Not a nail in it! Real rocks from my creek, and some clay does most of my tressels. I run two tenders up to ten hours a day. Seven days a week...when I am not at Wal-mart or getting to the book store, etc. 'Even leave it running when I play golf out back of my garage, which houses it. five (5) iron out, and a seven (7) iron in, just two holes!

4:10 A streamliner running at scale speed! Nice change from the funereal trains we often see slogging along. Remember, the biggies ran 1000 miles in 24 hours - Council Bluffs departure in the evening, Cheyenne in the morning, Ogden in the evening, and Portland or San Francisco the next morning, and 100 mph on the Super Chief.

As always a fantastic job with the video work, thanks. What a gorgeous layout. Love the humorous little touches. The way they've integrated the photo background to the layout is just stunning. I have to ask. There's a guy. Cowboy hat, red shirt and a rifle. He looks suspiciously like John Wayne to me. Considering the detailing on this layout I could completely believe that. Wow, simply wow!

The layout was very nice but to the first person to comment I would simply say it is NEVER advisable to put yourself down in order to pay a compliment. Been around model trains for decades and there is no need to do anything other than enjoy yourself and be complimentary, kind and encouraging to others and keep the door to worldly pressure and distraction SHUT.

U Haul is a threat to society. The Mayflower Truck shows the modeler totally cares what goes on in this layout. I'm going to forgive that tree base at 4:25 to 4:38 and admire the pleasure dome passenger car. The consist is amazing for the cargo trains, I just feel like the engines should be Dash 9 / Reminds me of the Amarillo Train yard, it's also 12 track wide.
