That was really cool Jimmy! I do enjoy a bit of switching ops now and then. Thanks for showing us how to get off on the right foot! Cheers, Dan

Thank you Jimmy, I really enjoyed your video. You explain everything to where it's easy to understand. I have never ran operations before. Videos like yours encourages me to try it. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Not Bad... Wilmer-IHVRR

Thanks for the video. I'm wondering why you performed the scrapyard pickup, then the lumber yard pickup, then stashed both back in the scrap yard before dropping your box card at the lumber yard. I must be missing something because I would have picked up the lumber yard, stashed it at the scrapyard, coupled to that pickup, dropped off the box car at the lumber yard, then retrieved the scrap and lumber yard pickups.

I guess I wasn't thinking because that makes way more sense haha! Thanks for the catch on that!

DIY & Digital Railroad Jimmy, not a problem. I've been playing with Arduinos and RPies for about 5 years now, and using them with other cheap Chinese electronics for my railroad (HO). I use SPROG instead of DCC+ because that was what was available then. I have 1 arduino, via a 16 servo shield to control many turnouts. I'm using Ethernet & USB from JMRI to control my accessories. Keep up the great work. I'm in a new space and starting from scratch, so it'll be awhile before I invite the local NMRA group for a tour.

That was a good example. You should look into sector plates for your staging yard. It will give you a huge yard space in a small space!

Looks like I'm going to have to build a sector plate haha! If I do, you know that there will be a video.
