An average car idling produces about 2kg of CO2 per hour. An average person produces about 1kg of CO2 per day. You really think the emissions a combustion car produces even if you kept it running for an hour means anything in a growd of 200 or so people? There is good enough airflow to keep the air fresh for the people, one car running on top of that is basically nothing. More to the point, in shows like these the car would be running for maybe 10-15 seconds, making the emissions actually meaningless.
