Nice job I did this modeling about 3 months ago but i placed sprinkle manually on the icing part and uploading it to my page in 3D warehouse but that's good idea using these plugins.

Instead of the subdivision plugin for the icing, could you have used the smoothing options in default SketchUp?

Well you could, but that doesn't actually create "smoother" geometry, but rather hides the edges and kind of blends the edges visibly. Geometry doesn't actually move. This actually subdivides the real geometry creating the smooth, organic looking icing. Does that make sense?
