Hello Dr. CEE, In my opinion, this is an excellent start; thank you very much for this. The breadth of your knowledge and know-how is awe-inspiring. Your explanation of the local axis and forces convention that is used on ETABS is priceless and it is precisely because of the many amazing and countless things such as this that will always set the CEE channel light years ahead. Honestly, and for a BRIEF moment (just for a brief moment), I actually thought that perhaps the Editor had quit ^_^, only to see him comment at 19:03 and I was so delighted to have him back and to have him wreaking havoc (the good kind of) as he usual does ^_^ ! Hi there Engr. DK, I guess the basics of local axis is one of the most important - yet overlooked - topics in any structural analysis software, as it seems that it is just "Here, those are the moments you need, deal with it". The ETABS series will follow a similar pattern to the RSA series, so starting with the basics and working it up. The editor was - to be honest - a little bit busy this week, as the semester is coming to a close and he got some paperwork to sign off. Actually, the academic vacation starts this weekend, so he is gonna be back I guess. Which means, more roasting for me. So stay tuned for more content, Regards, CEE

Dear sir i hope that you are doing well I have a small question Suppose we have a building and how to determine the global extreme values of the bending moments graphically as robot does Usually I select all the beams and open the beam table and i check I hope if there's a way graphically Thanks in advance.

I added the point to my list of issues to address Besides investigating if there is any other option to define linear loads on slabs (without using the 0 stiffness beam approach).

Hello sir i hope that you are doing well I have a small question about how to apply a linear load in the middle of a slab on etabs. I usually create a beam with none section and apply the load on it. I want to know if there's another and an easy way to do that. And thanks in advance
